I love this place! I don't do spicy, but they have non-spicy. Their red beans and rice is amazing (usually I won't buy something I can easily make at home.). People are very friendly. Oh, and the fresh juice takes me back to Dominica and roadside juice bars.

Not sure about the 3.8 rating, because everything was delicious and so so tender! The spices that they used in the jerk were very balanced and different from my usual flavor profile. Very glad that a friend recommended this to me and will definitely be back.
It was the first time I tried jerk chicken and it was delicious. Get an extra cup of sauce. It's better tasting uncooked. The flavor is brighter and more intense.
I had really good service here. The woman clarified my order when I made it and when my boyfriend picked it up. We didn’t wait very long at all. The mac and cheese lifted me out of a deep depression.
I have eaten at the location downtown. The food is good. The options and service is a let down though. I wanted to order a standard plate, but I wanted to swap the rice for vegetables. They said it couldnt be done?? Not sure how or why they can't make the swap, but something like that should be an easy modification for any restaurant to accommodate. They wanted me to order 3 separate items to make something similar to the plate with veggies instead of rice?
I put in online order. Waited a half hour in store. They did not enter it into the system after that wait. I asked how much longer to cook. They kept ignoring this question. Waited one hour in store for food. Their system is horrible and they are so disfunctional. Folks that came in a half hour after me got food before me. They did not have food unpaid for and offered a lesser value item replacement of corn bread. My plate was missing the plantains.
I called ahead of time to place an order. Was told it would take about 30 mins. I showed up 35 mins later and my order was ready. I appreciated the good social distancing between the cashiers and customers.The jerk chicken and salmon combo was amazingly flavorful and spicy as were the rice and beans. It certainly reminded me of great southern cooking. We will be frequenting this place!
I don’t understand what all the negative reviews are for. This is hands down the best jerk pork in the Bay Area.
I just had probably the worst restaurant experience of my life here. We placed an order yesterday for pickup today at 6:30pm. When we arrived, they had no idea that we had even ordered and told us they’d “rush” the order but it would take 45 minutes. We waited for another hour and our order had still not even started. We left without food.
