Brilliant Italian restaurant. Great flavor great vibes. This is definitely a weekly Italian spot we like to hit up. Best breadsticks in town. Food is made to order if requested. And yes they have a full bar.
What a great place! Food was so amazing; meat to seafood to pasta was all great. Service was very friendly and on point the whole night. Must go for all in the south bay
Very tasty to-go experience. We got the cannelloni, calamari fritti, and a kids ravioli. With the included side of bread it was plenty to share between our family of 3. All the food tasted delicious! The only con is that it is pretty pricey for the portion size.

Great Italian food, especially the gnocchi in pesto sauce that I had. We were a rather large group (12) but had no trouble being seated together outdoors. The heater made it toasty warm even on a cold day. The service was excellent and we felt extremely well cared for while we were there. It was a special day and by the end we were all extremely grateful our host chose Al Castello Ristorante as our venue to celebrate!
My family went here on a Friday night and had a great experience. The service was good and the food was delicious. I had the gnocchi and bread pudding and both were fabulous. Even my super picky kids loved their dishes. We'll definitely be going back!
We love this restaurant and the owners! Amazing quality food and lovely service. Have been here for a family engagement party, birthdays, anniversaries, and just because nights for dinner out. ❤️

What a wonderful experience. Our waiter and staff was very welcoming and kind. The food came out quick and hot. The grilled eggplant appetizer followed by the chicken piccata were delicious. Al Castillo was there for us by being open on a Monday night for dinner. Thank you to a long time Italian restaurant in San Jose.
Liked their chicken marsala. Had it to go. Ample portion. Bread is kinda bland tho.
