Had the worst experience here last Wednesday. We were regulars here, but after last week, we will not be returning. Our server was extremely unprofessional and not attentive. Placed our order, 2 people's food did not arrive until an hour after everyone else despite asking 6 separate times for the food. Server also spilled beer on my sushi, and brought napkins to soak up my beer drenched fish. We were so fed up with the experience we said we wanted the remaining items for the two people who had not received their food to be packed to go- took 15 more minutes. When it came time for the bill, there was no consideration for the time or inconvenience. I gave the server back the bill and stated we should not be paying for the two items which took so long. She took it to her manager who stated, well if you don't want it, I wont charge you. Then after I asked for it to be removed again while keeping the food, she stated can I give you a discount because I cannot waive the $17.00 or I will get in trouble. Astonishing. Will never return. Used to frequent at least once a week and took employees from our business there weekly, will never return.
Had to ask for Happy Hour menus. And please - clean the menus! The wrong food was brought & we had to wait & find someone. The beer came not cold. When we mentioned it she felt it & said it felt kind of cool & brought ice! The edamame had no salt & came late. Onions were sliced & put on top & not sautéed. One plus was how big the rolls were.Go to I Love Sushi in Ventura! Delish food, constant great service, ice cold beer with ice cold mug.
Best sushi and sashimi in Ventura county!I eat there twice a week and it is always great. Super nice people too!
very tasty cuisine. fresh fish. delicious plum wine. The menu is very large which makes it difficult to navigate. the waiters are friendly. the interior is not remarkable, the furniture is old
Very pleasant atmosphere. Good staff. Excellent selection with generous servings. Had the lunch special and took half home... it was Delicious!
Great sushi, everything was fresh and had a beautiful presentation, service was good as well.
the sushi/food here is AMAZING! My favorite is the teriyaki salmon entree! Everything taste so fresh, food is always ready on time, the sushi is too thick for my preference but still taste great! come with an empty stomach!
We have eaten twice at this location and every meal has been delicious. We ordered combinations the first visit and it was fresh and delicious. On the second visit I ordered the chirashi plate and this was also delicious. I think we have found our Camarillo Japanese restaurant ?
Honestly, the 2 star review is ONLY because 1 out of the 4 rolls we ordered was actually decent. Absolute HORRIBLE service. Under cooked edamame. Oh and just FYI since the menu doesn’t reflect it, there is mushrooms ALL in and on top of the super spicy dynamite roll. Then once we asked for it be removed from our ticket because my girlfriend is HIGHLY allergic, the staff was extremely disrespectful about it. It’s safe to say that this was the worst sushi experience I’ve ever had.
Our experience at this restaurant last night was very unpleasant and stressful last night due to the waitress we had This waitress, named Lauren had absolutely no people skills! She arrived at our table and curtly asked : What do you want to drink? No smile, no how are you ladies tonight, no nice introduction at all My mother asked her if they had raspberry iced tea and she replied they only had regular tea The major problem was the fact that she gave that answer with the same monotone, unfriendly tone and stoic face She absolutely set a very uncomfortable tone The martini I ordered tasted like old grape juice, not good at all The food was good, rather was ok On our way out after we waited a long time for our bill and finally had to ask another waitress for it, I informed the manager about our very unfriendly waitress and she replied with a bunch of Feedback how much all of her customers love the place’!! What’s that got to do with our horrible experience !!! We will never eat here again
