Can't beat their Taco Tuesday special. $3.50 per crispy taco. These tacos are giant and filling. Our server, and the team of servers, were very friendly and attentive.

Amazing food every time.Gluten-free options!

Love Taco tuesdays and Pozole on the weekends! Authentic food and great staff.

Wow! Amazing food! It was Takeout so I had to walk in and now I have to go back and dine in! Really lovely inside and the tequila collection is out of this world!

Great clean restaurant. Friendly service and very welcoming. The food was amazing. Definitely will come here again.

I had an asade skirt steak that came out at least 5-10 minutes after the first meal and was dry, unseasoned and defnitely not worth anything close to the $20 price tag. I wanted to like this place but the high prices with sub-standard quality will be its ruin. I can cook much better Mexican food at home.

The food is always amazing. I love their ceviche and my son loves their chimichanga

Found hair in my tacos when I lived in California I saw him do it on purpose maybe because of a review I did on a different Google account when I lived there or maybe it was how I looked either way great tacos they do dump lot of cheese on there that's the only Downer never went back since that happened I would give zero Stars if I could. I lived in California in 2018 and 2019 so two years I couldn't tell you exactly when I'm going to say 2019 sometime and I think it was because of a review over Spencer makenzie's how I said it was better then your tacos but it could also be my evil rich grandma did something or my super good looks and it was only one taco I believe Mexican hair one of the cooks I don't know him I don't know anybody in Camarillo besides my grandma an aunt but I went To your restaurant very often mainly on Taco Tuesday

This was our first visit to Ruby's upon entering you are directed to order at the cash register before sitting down. We had the axxess card so we order two orders of fajitas chicken and steak (we asked for one order to be prepared to go). We got our number and sat at a very visible table. The waitresses didn't seem to be assigned to tables. We eventuallywere served some ok chips but the salsa was in small to go containers. After we ate most of the chips we realized we weren't going to get any water unless we asked for it. After 35 minutes we finally got truly concerned about our food not ever coming so we went and asked about it and finally they brought some beans and rice without any utensils to eat with (which were cold so we sent them back) but no fajitas. Eventually they brought the to go beef fajitas which were disappointingly flavorless, very plain without any of the sides. And about 10 minutes after that they finally served the chicken fajitas that were even more flavorless. And eventually brought new beans and rice which were not any better even though they were warm just bland. The explanation was that the ticket didn't go to the back but I feel that someone should have realized that we had been sitting there forever and had not gotten our food. The food we finally got was not very good.

Our first time visiting and honestly the food was just okay. I feel more thankful for the server that took our order and the people who put their all into making our plates of food over the actual food itself. The menu has good ideas but needs a bit of an update. I ordered the crispy potato tacos. The potatoes tasted like nothing mashed potatoes and I only received lettuce and an insane amount of cheese on top. No salsa, no guacamole, and no sour cream. Some seasoning in the potatoes would have been good too. All of those elements would have deeply helped all the way around. My husband and son both ordered asada tortas and the meat tasted barbecued and not the way asada normally tastes after being cooked. Their bread got soggy pretty fast so they had to eat what they could and leave 1/2 of their tortas behind. What we are pleased about is the welcoming environment when we walked in, a very clean restaurant, NFL on their big screen, a server who went out of her way to ask if they could make tortas since they aren't on the menu and the men/women in the kitchen behind cooking our meals. We appreciate all of that over everything else. Not sure if we'll be back again but the restaurant was full when we were there so our presence makes no difference. Plenty of patrons to keep their business alive.Thank you for being part of the Camarillo community!
