It was my daughter's graduation day and after the ceremony we were looking for somewhere to eat. We had a party of 13 people. Ric's was awesome. Our waitress's name was Sarah, she was amazing . What great service. The food was fast and cooked perfectly. I had the prime rib. Best prime rib I've ever had.This is a must go to whenever I'm in the area.Great service, relaxed atmosphere and great food, can't ask for more.
Very lively crowd; of course it has been L. A. Landmark for years. Stopped in for an early dinner but needed to have a martini; it was delicious and yes, the bar where the "stories" are. Earlier when we were there, the bartender told us celebrity stories; where they sat; Ate; Drinks, etc.! This time it was crowded but we enjoyed the food; One piece of advice, if you're going there, don't order spaghetti and meatballs. you can get it somewhere else!!
A typical American restaurant, decent food at a good price! Huge servings and very kind and friendly staff. There are heaters outside to keep you warm, and the place is also dog-friendly.
We had great service, love listening to a band and really good food. Drinks were fine. Best place in Camarillo, in our opinion.
Really wanted to give Rics Restaurant a chance, but it fell short. The service was slow and inattentive. At times, it felt like my table was ignored. The food was at its best mediocre. Ordered a medium rare steak and received a steak that was extremely tough to chew. For a price of 28.00, I expect the steak to be cooked correctly. Sides were unimpressive and bland. My friend had fish and chips which were delivered almost cold. I don’t know if that was result of waiting 45 min for our food or if the waiter simply forgot. Do not get the fish tacos. They were 95% cabbage and 5% fish, which, was unseasoned and bland. Honestly? I wouldn’t mind giving this place another chance, but it would take a lot, and I mean a lot, to change my mind.
The food is really good. I had the Lemon Chicken with Capers, Scalloped Potatoes with mixed vegetables. Excellent dish! The staff is really good too. Polite and friendly. Our waitresses were Shannon and Bobbie both very good waitresses! Live music on Sundays. Good bands and not to loud. Get out and support our locally owned restaurants they need us!
First time here. We ordered off the happy hour menu, nachos, anti pasto plate and cheeseburger. Don't bother with the cheeseburger, a thin, previously frozen patty that is rubbery and pretty tasteless. The other items were well done, tasty and visually appealing.The restaurant was open, airy and they have a patio for Al fresco dining. Restrooms were clean and well stocked.The one real letdown? On this, the last day of the mask mandate, only one employee was masked.I would probably go there again, but only sit outside.
Last month I needed a last minute reservation for a large party of people, and the employees at Ric's were very accommodating. I was only able to give them about 2 hours notice and not once did they complain or make it seem like I was being an inconvenience. The customer service here rocks, the cocktails were tasty, and the food was very good!
