Ordered a burrito that had Chorizo and scrambled eggs and bacon. It was absolutely delicious! I've been there before and will definitely go again. A great stop while on a road trip!! Can't go wrong with their food for breakfast or lunch
Walked here with my girlfriend on Saturday overcast morning. Place was semi busy and people were going in and out. First thing we noticed was the huge selection of baked goods - bagels, cupcakes, eclairs, and much more. Pretty cool to see a lot of the selections displayed. Ordering was pretty quick and the cashier was nice enough to ask the bakers if the bagels have egg (gf has egg allergy). We ordered a couple of bagels and some coffee - pretty good, we enjoyed both very much. While having our bagel breakfast we sat down on a booth in front of the TV. We noticed the decor was was pretty awesome and felt cozy. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and will definitely go back for a quick bite. Thank you!
Delicious, very full menu. So many options to choose from and everything has always been fresh and yummy. They have dog-friendly outdoor seating and offer gluten-free options on some things. You wait in line to order at the counter (I do wish their menu print was easier to see from line). There service is always welcoming and they bring the food to you, even when busy.
A total of 6 times is how often I've visit this deli and always been satisfied. Let me start with their wide variety menu, full bar of sweets, bagels, pastries, fresh orange juice, great coffee and more I still need to explore.Today my girlfriend and I met up for breakfast. This was the perfect spot to catch up. They have a cozy couch area to lounge by the t.v or sit in a regular booth or table. The vibe is welcoming.I ordered the French toast combo. It came with 2 eggs of choice, turkey sausage and French toast. The French toast and turkey sausage was a reason for me to return. Tasty! To drink I choose a fresh OJ.My girlfriend ordered a "create your own" omelette with potatoes, a side bagel & coffee. The omelette and potatoes is what was the tastiest. We chatted and enjoyed delicious food, great morning for us.There's semi table service, you walk in and order, find a seat and they bring out the food to your table. There's a table with condiments of your choice. The lobby is kept fairly clean, employees are wearing masks. There's outdoor seating for the furry ones.My overall experience was pretty awesome, enjoyable company, great ambiance, delicious food and kind employees.I'll definitely return.
The service of this place has really gone downhill, at least for their to go orders. My husband and I joke now that we’ll see what we actually get when we go to pick up our food. We order from here at least 1-2 a month and every time something is wrong with our order. This morning my sister and her husband were ordering take out and I told them what I have been experiencing, they still decided to order and sure enough a completely different bagel order was in their bag. Whoever puts the to go orders together doesn’t seemto be very mindful of putting the right orders together. I’ve never written a review for a restaurant before but after this morning it’s becoming comical how bad their service is.
Went here on a Sunday morning, which, in hindsight, I do not recommend. There is no wait staff here, so you stand in a long line to place your order. We waited about 40 minutes the only good thing about waiting in the line is you get a close-up look at all the delucious-looking baked goods, and there are a lit of them! Once we did get our food, it was very good, scrambled eggs with delicious country potatoes and a freshly baked bagel...yummy. the restaurant in Camarillo has a large outdoor patio area, which is nice for those not wanting to sit inside, like us! Highly recommend this place, but perhaps not on a Sunday!
When thinking about lunch the other day, I had a hankering for a veggie sandwich from a deli. Being in Camarillo brought it's own challenges as there just weren't any Jewish delis that I knew of there. Imagine my delight when googling "sandwich shops near me" to have Old New York Deli & Bakery pop up! I frequently go to their restaurant in Woodland Hills so to find them in Camarillo was wonderful!! Same delicious food and lovely service ? I ordered my veggie sandwich on rye instead of whole grain and had them leave off the sprouts (just not a fan). Craving resolved!! PS There's only half a sandwich in the picture because I horked the other half as soon as it got to table ~ soooo good!!
They have outside sidewalk seating for people with dogs. We had 2 furry friends. You place your order inside. You get your own drinks inside. We ordered corn beef sandwiches. Unfortunately the bread was stale and the corn beef was dry. The bread only had mustard on it so I asked for a side of mayo. I never got it.I gave them a 2 rating because the pickles, cold slaw and potatoe salad were pretty good.Very disappointing experience.
Our experience wasn’t the best for our delivery and I’m aware it was New Year’s Eve but, many things were forgotten and ordered in early evening at 4:30pm. Also carrots in the soup were black so, makes me think they aren’t having the best turn over for business. On a positive note the bread for the corned beef sandwich tasted homemade and the walnut brownie was delicious! Not too many walnuts, huge size, and loved the frosting.
2nd day in a row eating here. This place is Delicious!!!
