I have not tried other food yet, Other items on the menu looks good I would try it sometimes. this review is for the ramen ONLY. 12.99 for instant ramen with dropped egg and garnish. Priced same as authentic ramen. Adding description in the menu will prevent unsatisfactory experience Im not sure if I am just misinformed , when i see Ramen Im expecting meat, broth and nori. This ramen has no meat.
I used to love this place I'd go every week sometimes twice a week, I've brought in countless friends and family that will no longer be going there. I would usually order Toro, bluefin, halibut and yellowtail belly and it was good but the real masa was better. The current owner that's there only says his name is masa, he's very bipolar one day he's your buddy serving great stuff the next he's ignoring you, the people he "trained" are garbage, serving little slivers of sushi and subpar sashimi all the while acting like your annoying them when you ask for something. When you order Toro it shouldn't be chewy, when you order miso soup the bowl and spoon shouldn't be hardened with dirty pieces of rice from the dish washer and when you order halibut or any other fish it shouldn't be smothered in sauce to mask that it isn't fresh. Very disappointed and I wish it wasn't true but I'm not about to fork out hundreds of dollars a week for that type of inconsistency.
Not a bad place to visit for lunch. Prices I think are fair, food I would say is ok/good just depends on what you're craving. I personally love anything baked, and drowned in eel sauce. I've also ordered the more mundane meals such as chicken teriyaki. My only knock on this establishment would be when I order the teriyaki meal, the dishes smell as if they have been sitting for a while. I don't want to say dirty but definitely not clean. Also the service could be better for the size of the restaurant I would say. There have been times where my meal has taken a bit too long almost as if they forgot that I ordered something extra. I say this because I usually order everything at once and there have been times I've finished a dish before the other arrives and I don't eat very fast. And when I ask there's a look of confusion as if, you ordered something else? Well that's my rant.
Expect some very tasty sushi and nice staff. 5 star because the food always puts a smile on my face in my first bite. Personal favorites Salmon tempura, and Alaskan roll. Simple and delicious.

Masa Sushi is Awesome!! The staff is very friendly and it is a nice chill environment. I really love the lunch special its one helluva deal. I always get the 3 item special for $15.99 11-3:30 M-F… I pick the Chicken Teriyaki, spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, (tons of other choices) comes with Miso soup, Salad, Gyoza, Side of rice. I Love it!
All of our orders were served quickly, everything was fresh and very appetizing.

Called in a pick up order at 6 22pm just to get there at 7 pm almost and it not being close ready waited an additional 20 mins sadly. First time trying this place would rather go to ventura city for sushi. Asked for a baked roll and half of the roll was raw.
Always fresh and clean and even the take out tasted exactly the same as their sitdown meals ... love the thin thinnest sashimi and the saki was good too ... I will definitely be ... a repeat offender ??☺️??
