Great experience. Stopped on our way home to San Pedro from Ventura. Read the Yelp reviews. Sounded too good to be true. But honey, it was true. Loco Moço worthy to serve on Maui Chile Verde was deeeelicious. Staff all friendly and greet you with big smiles. Will definitely be going back.
My Fianceé and I really enjoy this place. Just as the name implies, it's a hidden cafe in the back area of Camarillo. The food here is a mix of American/Filipino cuisine. The food is excellent and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. We love coming for their Loco Moco breakfast plate. It's rice (fried or steamed) topped with a charbroiled beef patty, special gravy sauce and a cooked egg to your liking. If you decide to get the deluxe version of the dish, it comes with Sausage and Spam. This place is worth a try. You won't be disappointed. P.S. if it's available, please get their cinnamon rolls.....they are simply fantastic! They do run out quick so get them if they have them. This place gets two thumbs up!
I learned about this place from a mutual aquantance. I grew up in Ventura and have never taken the last off ramp in Camarillo. I passed the cafe initially and thought maybe it was part of the golf course, this the term "hidden", but no, it was tucked in the only small shopping center, and you have to turn down a street to get to it and enter from the side.You can tell this is a restaurant of love. We entered and were greeted by a young man who was being instructed on where to seat us. Clearly due to the pandemic, they have managed to improvise with some outside seating, that doesn't feel outside. They have heaters, to keep us warm. Every dish comes with a rice option and pancakes, if you like. I love that they have such a variety of breakfasts, even SPAM options. It is clear this place is very popular with the locals. Service was great,quick and food was delicious and great coffee. We will be back on our next trip through to San Diego, as we always stop for breakfast somewhere, now it will be here!
First time here for my wife and I. Very y friendly Family Owned business. Great food. And personable service. I will recommend this place to everyone. We will be back.
Amazing food. Our table ordered Chili Verde omlette was outstanding. Spam and eggs, outstanding. Loco moco outstanding. You need to eat HERE!!

The Hidden Cafe was a sweet stop with great food and friendly service. The sweet and savory options were fun! Both me and my partner enjoyed filling breakfast and agreed our server was great. Definitely a family establishment with warm energy. I would recommend this stop to friends.
Always a good meal. Probably the only place in Camarillo where you can get a Hawaiian style breakfast. Friendly staff. It's a bit hard to find but worth the search. Go you'll enjoy it!
