Great pizza, cost was too much but definitely delicious. Service was okay, not great and waited for our order for a long time.
Loved the wedge salad. We got the pan pizza and it was nicely spicy but oily (pepperoni).
While my spouse and I were shopping at the outlets, we decided to get a bite to eat inside of Fredas. We were visiting this establishment for the first time. My spouse ordered the deli nachos. Beware of this menu item, they aren't really nachos at all. They were potato chips topped with small strips of pastrami with cheese sauce. ???? Not to be mean though, this just wasn't what I expected when I asked for nachos.
Enjoyed a Cuban Sandwich with fries for dinner. This is how a business should be run, I met the owner as he was out checking in on people last night, made sure EVERYONE there was good before he took a break to check out some new crust on a cheese pizza, even asked me if I wanted to try a piece but I was too full. It will be a date night spot for us for sure.
I didn’t get to taste the food. I ordered one order of buffalo wings. After 30 minutes of waiting I went in and asked if they were almost ready. I was told five more minutes. 15 minutes later I went and asked again and they said another 10 minutes. Got a refund and left. I was told by the girl at the front, who was very nice, all food orders are about a 1 hour wait. This is absurd for any restaurant that wants to stay in business, and if this is the case you need to let your customers know when ordering
Loved the pizza we got this week and it was awesome to see that they’ve finally added a gluten free crust to their offerings. Not sure why it isn’t listed in any menu but it does exist.My partner got a cheesesteak which was also amazing.Only issue we ever had with this place is the front desk staff. It’s like a sequel to Mean Girls. Pretty as can be, but they clearly hate being there and hate everyone that walks in the door. It’s like they’re there on a prison work release program and hate everything about it.Not so for the people at Nona’s ice cream who are delightful, just the Fredas girls who seem just so miserably unhappy. No idea why. It seems like a fun place to be.Also not so for the one guy who works the register there. He’s always delightful, gracious and friendly.
I ordered two pies. Both were cooked to perfection, light not greasy and a great under carriage. " One bite " everyone knows the rules. I score the pizza at Freda's 8.4 . If you walk in and order they share space with a local brewery called Topa Topa based out of Ventura. " Try the beers you won't be disappointed while you wait for your pies
Fredas brings great pizza and a great space to Camarillo. Staff very friendly- very clean space - Awesome place- been living in Ventura county since 2011- best quality for the best price TBh. also try the mushroom truffle pizza!!!!
Called in my order 30 minutes prior to my arrival go up and pay. Was told it’s only be a few minutes longer after the woman went and checked the pending to go orders. I sat for another half hour before deciding to ask for a refund. Surprise my food had been complete before I arrived in the same back the cashier had already checked. I don’t know if it’s incompetency or laziness. Two starts because I got a refund.
Amazing pizza! They've got a real woodfire oven and the pizza is absolutely amazing!
