I have ordered 3 cakes from these folks and 2 were just ok. Note that their cakes are expensive - over $50 for a small cake - so why would I go back after a 'just ok' cake? Because their lemon cake was heaven. Best cake I've ever had. Their other 2 cakes got the comments,"Ralph's cake is better." I want to support small businesses, so could you guys do to the other cakes what you did to the lemon? Moist cake, oozing flavor and fresh fruit with none of that filler whipped cream stuff. You found perfection once! Oh, and whoever takes your phone orders is consistently rude, while you are all so nice in person. BBCC has great potential, but an $80 cake experience has to be terrific every time.
We absolutely love their cakes! They never disappoint and we always have our friends family take some home so they can enjoy more of it as well. This cake was chocolate, with chocolate mousse, vanilla buttercream frosting, ivory shavings and mixed berries ontop. I would say this was the perfect baby shower cake!
This place is NOT as good as it used to be. I got a cake, a couple waffle strawberry things and a tulip cup, and it came out to over $80 and it just wasn't worth it. The strawberries on the waffle were dark and nasty the next day and the waffle was falling apart. The tulip cup was put in sideways and has become soft on the side. And the cake was ok at best. If you do get things here, eat it within the hour or 2 or it'll go bad. Real let down.
