The food is nothing spectacular tri-tip, rice and beans. The problem I encountered was the excessive wait time for One burrito. I placed my online order at 7:06 p.m. the expected pickup time was 7:15. We arrived at pick up time and our order was not ready. A couple came in and placed a large to go order after I checked in for pick up. The large order was filled and out the door before my one burrito was done. I did not receive my order until after 7:30p.m.. I was not the only person skipped, there were other patrons waiting. I understand staffing shortages I’m a patient person. However, when you fill a order prior to your online orders that are waiting that’s wrong. No apologies for the excessive wait and I find that unacceptable. Bobbi’s can do better than this we have been customers for years.
It’s been nearly 8 years - and dozens of meals at Bobbi’s - since I wrote about the greatest breakfast burrito in the world. It still is ? But we’ve been getting street tacos at Bobbi’s recently and just wanted to provide an update (and a new photo). The street tacos at Bobbi’s are ALSO fantastic and priced right. And worth noting, staff is always friendly and food served fresh and hot.
It was starting to get busy when I went in, but they got my food out quickly. I had the tri tip burrito and it was one of the best I've ever had. The kicker was the super hot salsa they gave me with it. That salsa will light you up. Total experience was awesome.
Ok…so first of all this review is solely based on the the Tri-Tip Burrito which is amazing. The tri tip has a Smokey flavor and is a great compliment to the burrito. I’ve been here a couple times passing through the area heading north and it’s My go to. Others with me did have the chili relleno burrito which they really enjoyed. I think it’s safe to say that if you’re heading north or south on HWY 101, stop in for some tasty food. Happy eating!
Watch out for the salsa! It’s tasty but very spicy! Chips are seasoned nicely. Fish taco was great!
I often come by to Bobbi's To pick up a burrito for dinner on my way home from from the LA Orange County area, the food here is great! my favorite is the Chile Verde burrito. The pork was tender and flavourful! The restaurant is very clean as well, Which is important.
Portion size for everything is appreciated but, I suppose that is the reason probably I disliked paying the ✔️ check that night lol sorry not sorry.Over all I probably won't be returning there by my choice. Their alright .I prefer some spicyness.
For three decades we have been going to Bobby’s Mexican restaurant the quality of the food that was served today was so horrible it’s beyond belief. very simple things we only ordered three burritos. the first one was all meat tri-tip the meat was so old and stale it must’ve been at least two days old sitting out on the counter or in the fridge overnight and out all day or something. that’s the way it looked. then it was so greasy like they had poured oil or grease all over it to try and reconstitute the stale old meat couldn’t eat it We had to throw them away. the second burrito was the same thing it had rice in it and the rice was hard and crispy along with the old stale tri tip. the third burrito was the same but they didn’t make that burrito correct they didn’t add the ingredients for what was requested and paid for We don’t know what to say we really like Bobby’s and we just have to assume they’re not able to handle Quality anymore due to Covid I’m really sorry Mike that this is happening. We have been dedicated customers of yours for close to 30 years and the quality has just been going down down down down and tonight was beyond belief. An attempted to resolve when I called the restaurant I wanted to talk to you because I did not want to be forced leave this review. We did not hear back from you. the people at the restaurant said there was no manager there and there’s only the people working and obviously whoever you have working there is sacrificing quality of your restaurant for whatever reason they have unfortunately. the result is the review that we have to give here so people know. maybe that will get you to improve your quality maybe you can focus on your primary restaurant rather than focusing on expanding to other restaurants. I’m not sure but we’re quite sad that it has come to this. We tried to reach out. To have a friendly conversation but it seems you would rather sweep it under the rug rather than correct it. We will not be visiting bobbies restaurant any time soon.
I found this place after leaving Bulldog Liquidators in Camarillo. Great tasting food and the staff were super friendly. I will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area...
My girlfriend went here to pick up our order. Chips and salsa are not complimentary? That's fine. The part that will never make me come back is the lady with glasses working front 11/07/21. My girlfriend and I have worked food service jobs so we definitely understand how important tips are. My girlfriend has a few ones in her wallet and throws it in the tip jar. We usually tip a lot more than 2 dollars of course, but we need some change. she'll use cash to pay for the food, and use the change to add on to the tip. Not for this lady. I thought you only hear this stuff in sitcoms. "Do you have any other s m a l l bills you'd like to get rid of??" Gesturing at her tip jar. I'm sorry??!? Extremely rude. You get tips from exceptional service. Not because you took our order right. None of my friends and family are going to Bobbi's anymore.
