Prefacing my comments with the knowledge that they appear to be short staffed- service was impossible to get at an out door table -had to flag someone down just to take our order - had the salmon( so so -bland mashed potatoes seemed possibly out of a box or Watery ) , the tomatoes and burrata ( delicious) and cheesecake ( had a weird crust and tasted like nothing ) -disappointed -
this is the second time we have dined at Trapeze. had a very nice menu, the food was fresh, wholesome and high quality. service was excellent, constantly filled water glasses, without asking. would easily dine there again.
Everything was wonderful m. The food is amazing.
I'd return and recommend it. The server might have been newer or returned from a break, so a couple of questions were met by confusion, but we sorted it out.
Food was really good. Not outstanding but really good considering the price. We ordered the cioppino, lobster ravioli and seafood paella. I think the lobster ravioli was the best dish. Service was good and outdoor seating was comfortable.
A solid Italian restaurant with good ambience.
Very disappointed with my second visit. The calamari was soggy and there were more artichokes and beans than calamari. I ordered the lamb, medium rare, and they brought medium. They replaced the meal, but wow, I am super disappointed with the flavor. The meat was not seasoned, after they grilled to medium rare they just doused the meat with sauce. Horrible experience.

The food were acceptable, the value for what you'd get is marginal at best. Area is hard to find parking space.
