I was a weary traveller in need of food staying in a nearby hotel. I found this little place a short half mile walk away. I had the taco salad to go. I swung that little bag all the way back to the hotel.O.M.G. this was the tastiest most yummy goodness Mexican food I'd ever eaten. I had to do a replay the very next and last day of my trip. Reasonably priced and oh so good.If 10 stars were allowed, they'd get them all.
Really good, made to order Mexican staples. Location is a bit shifty but the food is solid. Simple sit down space or takeaway.
I ordered a variety of tacos, five intended for now and five intended for later. Twenty minutes later I had eaten all ten. They were so so good I just couldn’t stop. I’d have these again and again. Next time I’d order ahead to save the wait, but the strange mid century architecture reminiscent to Brasilia, Brazil helped kill the time as well as the view of the bay out back.
Super shocked at the bad reviews! I thought the meat was flavorful, salsas were amazingly good, service was fast and accurate. I’ve had tons of tacos and burritos in my time including in Mexico and the food here is excellent.
Ordered a quesadilla. Since when did they have peppers and onions STUFFED inside it? so much so it was sloppy and soggy. Gross presentation. I wanted to like this place because it looks like a hole in the wall, but unfortunately it didn’t meet near any of my expectations.
If I could rate this restaurant a 0 I would. The restaurant was very dirty, the trash was overflowing. Bathrooms smelled VERY bad as well. The guy who took out order was very rude. We asked if we could sit inside but he said he had to check just in case anybody reserved when he didn’t tell anybody else who came after us that.Anyways, I don’t see how anybody could make reservations when the place was dirty and smelly.
Waited 30 mins for 3 tacos. Server repeated the order back to me, didn’t give me a receipt when I said yes for a receipt- gave me 2/ wrong tacos out of 3. Looked at me like I was crazy when I asked about the tamales or for salsa.
This place was the best hotel layover food I've had. Low price and delicious. I could eat their fish tacos every day!
We found this place while staying at Hyatt Regency next door. Ordered takeout from here 3 times during our 4 day stay. The place was not busy, but wait time after ordering was about 20 minutes. There's a good reason though, the food is cooked fresh. We ordered carne asada and al pastor tacos, asada tortas, and shrimp burrito. All dishes were really good to our taste. The only complain I have is about the young gentleman at the counter taking the orders. He needs to improve his customer relations skills by a lot. I had read other reviews here and was already expecting a sour experience at the counter. We still decided to get takeout from here instead of the not so good and expensive food from the hotel.
Our first stop on our San Francisco trip. Tacos made with guacamole. I explained that I was allergic and could not have it. Mimed an explanation of death for emphasis. They scraped of the guacamole and plopped on sour cream. I opened the food and there was guacamole remnants everywhere. I remained hungry for several more hours.
