The best food that I have had in a really long time. Service was outstanding the food came out of the kitchen hot the veal was so tender Did not even need a knife. We will be back soon

Fantastic as always! Highly recommend. Owner is from Sicily, so real Italian food. ❤️🇮🇹

We celebrated our daughter’s birthday! Food, ambience, and service was outstanding! Thank you for making a great memory for my daughter!

Lovely local , authentic Italian eatery. Love the staff! Food is delish! We go often with La mamma!

This place is a family favorite and we come here often. The food and service is always good. It can get a bit crowded, especially on a weekend evening, so reservations are recommended.

We went to Sapore for a last minute anniversary dinner, plans changed and instead of going to SF we decided to stay local. We’ve been to Sapore before, our memories and experiences were quite positive, hence the return trip. When arrived, we told them we had a reservation. Without looking they seated us. It coulda been anyone, or anyone taking our reservation? How do they know? Minor issue, but makes one wonder… When we inquired about an item that was a special, they told us they were out. No problem we we gave our order. About 10 minutes later, the burrata pizza we’d ordered was out of burrata. They gave us a choice to have mozzarella instead, and we said OK, whatever. They split our salad order, brought out the Bruschetta Al Sapore ( I’m assuming a house special) first. The citrus salad, was fair at best, four rounds of orange slices topped with arugula and a champagne dressing, for $18(?), and the bruschetta tasted like old plain baguette slices, no seasoning of sort, not cut diagonally, plain baguette slices partially burnt on two of the four pieces, topped with chopped tomatoes lightly dressed and hard to eat without all the tomatoes falling off. Huh? Ever eat bruschetta/ toast picking up the goodies with a fork? I was expecting a little bit of effort for $10, not worth it. Pizza was soggy because of the dearth of arugula, and a ball of mozzarella plopped in the center. Coulda sliced it, melted it with the pizza, nope, ball-o-cheese, seemingly straight from the fridge. And the table shook trying to cut through the pizza to get a slice, disturbing my wife. Pasts was cooked well lotsa clams, but had too much butter/oil, but it was swimming. Everything Sapore puts out should be quality, no? Disappointed in the whole meal, set us back $85, too. And do you read comments before seating diners? Never again, you lost two former fans.

Calamari appetizer was the worst I have ever had. Seems like it was a frozen variety which was not cooked well. Affagato was made with coffee and not espresso. Entrees were good. Waitress wa difficult to understand and seemed to be rushing us.

Had a birthday dinner last night and the dinner was delicious. We had Pesto tortellini, salmon dinner, and skirt steak. They even brought out a complementary birthday dessert of their delicious cannoli’s 😋

Open table allowed us to book a table at 3:30 but the restaurant didn’t open until 4pm. There was some disconnect.

The food was fantastic. The past was fresh, home made. This is for sure one of the best italian restaurants in the Bay Area. Good selection of wines. The Tiramisu is one of the best I ever had. Very light and fluffy. The Espresso is like in Rome or in Torino. It is fantastic! The service was very friendly and very good. Also under pressure! I will come again!
