We typically have breakfast here once or twice a month. It's a classic neighborhood coffee shop with a traditional breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. All the classics and lots of regulars straight out of central casting.The coffee is excellent. The service is friendly and efficient.This location will be demolished for new construction sometime in the next few years. Then, hopefully, they will relocate somewhere nearby.
I had the breakfast sandwich and a nice coffee while enjoying the morning sunshine outside on the patio. Friendly staff and clearly a busy establishment that I would visit again on my next trip to the area.
Ordered chicken and waffles and an omelette for takeout. I really wanted to like this place but the chicken and waffles were basically inedible :( perhaps it’s takeout, or that I ordered the wrong thing. But at this price point I would expect something better with so many other local options near by
Neal's Coffee Shop in Millbrae, CA reminds me of the brunch and coffee spots I've eaten at before. The concrete floors, the small tables, echoing voices from all the stranger conversations. All it's missing is the subway smell and the mid-Summer humidity.
Where's ALL the OLD workers ????There NOT the same anymore ?...EVERYTHING has gone down hill and the girls on the register are ALWAYS sooo RUDE!!they think they know everything like as if they think ur order should be there way ?Hello IM PAYING NOT THEM!!! U tell them and its different! Like u order a sandwich with white bread they tell them wheat? And ask them to cook the fries abit more and they way over do it. Burnt ? or not cooked all the way like soggy... They need the old cooks back especially i just went this week for 2 breakfasts and had bacon , eggs , and hash browns w/ toast one order and the otra the other pancakes... Belie e it or NOT thepancakes was the ONLY good thing!!!I was DaM MaD ? my bacon they say was fresh was like dry like a craker and eggs not cooked all the way runny scrambled eggs gross ? and the hash browns soggy too much butter NASTY... They need NEW cooks that can cook and better waitresses are cashiers cuz they're all rude....

Simply one of the best neighborhood cafes anywhere. They do everything right here, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. This place is effortlessly “retro” just by virtue of having been around for so long, and building up a devoted fan base. It’s wonderful !
The best breakfast cafe on the peninsula. Eggs are always perfect. Service fantastic and value for the price is the best. Love breakfast at Neal’s.
I like having breakfasts there, especially early in the morning when it's not crowded. They have a nice menu and everyone will find a breakfast deal, from classic omelette and bacon to delicious pancakes with syrops.
