Salt and pepper Wagyu beef is the best, eat it hot! The pork belly is fantastic as well. Raspberry marscapone mousse cake was delicious. The manager is wonderful, and provides a warm and friendly atmosphere.
10/10 experience! The food, as always, is incredible here, but what made it better was the service. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive, but the star of our experience was the host, Gary!!!!!!!!! Gary was the highlight of our night and should be the face of Mokutanya. Give that man a raise.

We usually come here twice a month. But this time, service was horrible, plus the Ramen's price was a joke now. Seriously? $21.00 for a small bowl of ramen? With the taste of the ramen is not even worth $21.00. We ordered the Ika Karrage and they charged us $2.00 for a side of Spicy mayo. Told my wife we're not going to come back to this place anymore.
Overall the experience including the food is excellent. It is just too dark. Shoes are removed prior to sitting but need to have a better place for them as some shoes do stink! Pricey but if you are with someone you love it is worth itð
Great place for sake, Japanese tapas, and hanging out with friends. Super friendly service and overall great vibe. Definitely a new place to have as regular option for good food and special occasion spot.
They even contacted me when a table opened up earlier to see if we wanted to dine earlier than our reservation since it was later than we originally wanted. Well, even if we had to wait, the food is so worth it. Amazing meal!
