I like the place and the atmosphere.Less than enamored by the service/dining experience unfortunately. They ran out of clotted cream, which sucks but I guess is understandable, but neither did I receive butter or jelly/jam, which is a bit off putting. They also ran out of pesto so no tomatoes and cucumber sandwich. No big deal there, maybe just a bit disappointing; so I ordered the chicken salad and turkey and cheese. I received tuna salad instead. The food was tasty regardless so I didn't complain but simple service was a bit of a let down. Also dry scones are not fun. That aside. I definitely recommend going. The atmosphere is very pleasant (for the most part). The tea selection is robust and varied and the afternoon tea I imagine in most cases is quite nice. The tea house itself is great and I'll update this when I get around to trying the tea that I purchased from the store. It is a much needed spot here in the US so definitely kudos to them for going at it.

My first time here and I definitely will be coming back again. Will, the owner is such a wonderful and friendly man. He made my friends and I feel so welcomed. The food was wonderful and the tea was great. Thank you for such a lovely experience Will.

Visited a few months ago, still get tea shipped to me in Ohio. Food and service are good, tea is well balanced and blends are not reliant on additives like a lot of other places are.

Bland, mediocre food in a freezing cold environment. (It was a cold rainy day, and the restaurant had all doors and windows open… because of Covid air circulation rules, they said… although other restaurants aren’t doing this. Or are at least providing heat in any case.)The tea was of medium quality and a bit on the weak side; the sandwiches were bland with uninteresting filling. A small salad was part of the tea, which was actually pretty good. The sweets were bland and uniform in taste, pretty much all had the flavor of plain Scottish shortbread (even the scones!). No chocolate anything available, nothing light and fluffy, nothing moist, nothing flavorful. This might be a pleasant place in summer when it’s warm, with a menu update.

My wife’s go to tea place. She loves the Raspberry Beret. There is a wide variety of blended teas. You can also get afternoon tea with tea sandwiches and scones, a rare treat. Will the owner is a phenomenal host. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

The 20's jazz atmosphere, the food, the hospitality of the owner William, and of course the Tea! are all incredible. Will and his mother are truly magnificent, and even being served by them is such a treat. He is attentive and friendly, and will be constantly checking in to make sure you're having a good time. Let Will's extensive knowledge of his tea list and hand-baked pastries guide you toward what's right for your mood and appetite.Intimate, cozy, friendly, and extremely tasty!

A hidden gem. There are so many tea options and the oolong was so good it was more of a ooooooolong. If you're coming from the pottery barn main street side, go THROUGH the pottery barn and it'll be on your left. You can go through the brick hole in the wall if you like adventure or you can go around. The owner is a delightful character. Maybe if you're nice he'll let you taste his baked goods.

Very friendly crew and owner. Serving craft black tea that are smooth to the palate and throat. Using fresh ingredients for its pantries and sandwiches.

Quite a Tea selection! fresh and very good. they bring you a whole pot! not one of those tiny little tin things. Salad was excellent with an extra little flair like little baby green tomatoes and homemade dressing. Sandwiches were good too. mama in the back is a wonderful person, who makes you feel like you're walking into somebody's home. Highly recommended!! if you're a coffee person, they have a great smoky strong tea thats a great coffee substitute, but why would you do that when you're in a great place with over 40 varieties of tea? And they're all good? Great ambiance. Check them out.

Lovely afternoon tea for two. Very reasonable prices. Locally sourced ingredients and everything made with love with the owner and his family.100% would come back!
