Food wasnât good at all. Brussels sprouts were burned. Second course: lasagna was dry, spaghetti was like one big bunch. Couldnât separate them. Chicken had no flavor and also on dry side. Cannoli was very dry and filling inside had no taste at all. We used to come all the time and food was delicious but not yesterday. I donât think we are going to come in the future.
We chose to eat outside, so noise level from train was apparent, but we expected this. Great summer options!
Trip to the US
We've always enjoyed the ambiance, service and food at Il Fornaio. Our visit did not disappoint -it started at the bar into the dining room. Thank you for keeping up with the service in these changing times.
great food and attentive service
Nice ambience and place for a quiet conversation. Food average. Service pleasant.
We had a great female server and the food was excellent
Have been an IF fan for years, but have not been to on in quite awhile. I used to think it was one of the best Italian restaurants on the peninsula, but not anymore. The food was mediocere, the service poor and overall was not up to par.
Iâve never had lasagna without sauce? The vodka tomato cream sauce tasted like Campbellâs tomato soup.
Service was haphazard. It appeared that our waitress was training someone and by the end of our meal, the waitress had disappeared and the trainee waited our table. The food was hit or miss. The calamari was undercooked. The salads were fine. Two of our entrees, a daily special, had a strong fishy odor to them.
