I usually don’t expect much from any Mexican eatery, except this small restaurant is a gem! Not only is the Chef/Owner, Gabriel, talented in the kitchen, he charmed us with such beautiful and unique presentations of our dishes. And the food!! We had no idea that such dishes could be created with Mexican food. However, after speaking with Gabriel, who is from Mexico City, he loves preparing regional dishes of Mexico using authentic recipes. So we tried his ‘Pimienta’. From the first bite my husband and I looked at each other in disbelief that any Mexican food could taste that amazing; from the quality of ingredients, to the spices to the presentation- which is a work of art in its own, we knew that we had found a tiny Diamond in Burlingame!!! How can this place not have a 5 Michelin Star rating is beyond us. If you haven’t been here before it’s definitely worth a visit. On a side note, both Gabriel and his Assistant, Leonore, are both the most amiable people you might ever have the pleasure of meeting. Dawn & Donny
This food is prepared, cooked, and packaged with love. Fresh, seasoned well, and so good. Yum Yum Yum, I agree with a 5-star rating. Also, the customer service and friendly environment were so refreshing.
Yum!!!! I ordered steak “A La Pimenta”(spicy) and it was delicious. Just by looking at the plate I was impressed! The service was awesome and you can tell the food is cooked with love. DELICIOUS!!!
This little Diner is right behind the Doubletree hotel on the Golf course. The food was AMAZING!! I was so excited that I forgot to take a picture of my meal and my delicious Mango frozen Margarita!!! The service was top notch and the food was full of flavor!!! This little Tiramisu treat at the end sealed my meal. The chef also made a cute teddy bear cheese quesadilla with my company name on top!!!
I visited from NY. We stayed at a nearby hotel and found this place on line. This place is a small food stand where you order at the counter and wait for the food to be brought to your table. It is located at a gold course shop right near a soccer field. (You cannot see or find it from the street). Food was absolutely delicious and the people were wonderful. This was absolutely the best Mexican food I ever had and very reasonably priced.You will NOT BE disappointed!!!!!!!!
This place is kinda hole in the wall. We stay close by, stumbled upon it online randomly. Food is delicious and host is warm. The food presentation was beautiful. It’s right next soccer field so family friendly.We tried chicken burrito and quesadilla supreme.We will definitely visit again soon!
You have got to be kidding me. Just landed from Florida and decided we wanted some Mexican food. Less then a mile away Google said, which led us to the Burlingame soccer/golf center. What a weird setup I though until our order was ready. My wife ordered the fish tacos and although she isn’t a fan of tilapia, said these tacos were the best fish tacos she’s had in a longtime. I ordered a fish burrito and wow, I was highly impressed. Not only does his artistry come out in the presentation of his dishes, but the food and sauces were so flavorful and rich. This is truly one of those hidden gems you won’t believe until your order is right in front of you. Not sure how long they can remain hidden for.
Amazing experience, incredible food and the owners are extraordinarily friendly. Margaritas are perfect. Do not let the golf shop mislead you, this is the real deal!

This hidden gem is THE best Mexican food I’ve ever had. When you land in San Francisco, this is the place to have the best mango margarita and incredible food to recharge your travel battery!
