Excellent high quality chicken and priced as to be easy on the pocket book. Very tasty and you'll feel like the food hasn't eaten you once you finished it. A plus service and taste. I look for zankou chicken anytime I'm hungry and want a tasty healthy meal.
I ate here probably 12 years ago and was not too thrilled. But today's visit was awesome. I got a new addiction with the chicken kabob plate.
Great food great service my favorite place in burbank. Steak is amazing taste.. always busy to expect to wait 15 min tops for your food to be finish. Love this place.
Great food, horrible parking situation. I accidentally ordered from this location instead of the one on Riverside. It was a hot mess of a parking lot but food was excellent!
Excellent chicken. Visiting the area from out of state and the food was wonderful. The chicken was fresh, moist and flavorful. Good portions with fair prices. Fast and friendly service with a clean and comfortable dining area. Ample seating available indoors or out. Loved it.
Ok so here we go… Issue #1 I never received an email confirmation after ordering online. Not a big deal to me but that leads me to issue #2 which is the guy at the front asking me to show him proof of my order. Is it because he didn’t believe me? Even though I told him exactly what I ordered? But even more alarming..I watched 4 people come in after me with to go orders and he NEVER asked them for proof of an order. But the black woman gets asked? WHY? Issue #3 is that they made my order wrong, which ok. That happens. No biggie. The problem is that they remade it but didn’t think to say hey, excuse me, your order is ready! So I just sat there while my food, unbeknownst to me, sat on the counter. I won’t even go into the poor customer service skills that the cashier had. I guess that’s the least of my concerns. It was just so disappointing to experience this. I was passing thru on travel and it was just a huge disappointment.This was through your website. Choosing the order now option. Ordering as a guest. Are you going to address why I was the only one asked for proof?
The nicest people work here . For the prices I think the whole space is a great deal. I always see happy families eating inside. The cashier girls are always very sweet and Aliyah is an angel of an employee. The food is so fresh and healthy! To be honest though I wish Zankou would add classic fries you get at most shawarma stuff places still a great place though.
The food is good. That's why I always go back. But now they are cheating customers. They used to fill the containers to the top every time. I always thought I was getting my moneys worth. Now they fill the containers 3/4 full sometimes less. When I questioned them about this, the counter person just flat out lied to me. He told me they weigh the container. I have been going to this place for a long time. You can watch the entire process of them filling orders, never once have I seen them weigh the container. The food is still good but they are just ripping people off. Maybe they don't want to raise prices or whatever but don't start ripping me off and then lie and tell me it's always been this way and lie about weighing the product. The items I get are always the same. In fact some of the people that work there know me by name. I get a large tarna and a medium rice every time and the large Tarna is always full until recently and I have never seen them weigh anything. Location is San Fernando Rd Burbank.
Have been here 4-5 times in the last three years. I often bring friends due to the excellent constituency of food and service. Probably the best chicken around. I will keep coming back.
The food is good unfortunately the portion is really small. Customer service is really slow .
