Girls that work here are sweet. They keep the place clean and running well. Great fast food that's a little healthier than most. Always consistent.

Great place ? clean like always nice customer service, but the orange chicken -*** not good.

Rice is dried out, couldn’t eat, threw away most of it.Food taste is not good, not again.

Sadly this location is a losing location. They overcharged me today by $2.50 compared to other Yo locations..When I inquired why higher than other locations, thier immediate response was--"Oh...its tax sir...And $150 extra for salmon...and I have to go by what register says..we dont control register.."--There was no mngr on duty and the teenager on register, William, and the woman named Maria said itsok...There is nothing we can do about it...?Bottomline---Prices on menu board dont match what registers do..?

My favorite fast food place, which is now rebranded as Yoshinoya Japanese Kitchen. I've been going to this branch for years, and have been a Yoshinoya customer since the late 80's. Their original beef bowl with rice, traditionally known as Gyudon, always hits the spot if you're hungry for substantial, healthy, non-fried fast food. This alone merits 5 stars! Their chicken and other proteins are good as well, but there's a reason they used to be called Yoshinoya Beef Bowl back then. Make sure you eat it right away, as it tastes best when the thinly sliced beef has just been brought out of the pot, piping hot, dripping in sauce with the onions, dumped over the steamed rice. Add some pickled ginger and crushed red pepper for full-on umami goodness! They offer sides too: my fave is the clam chowder; and your meal is cheaper if you order the bowl with a side and a drink. Prices have increased, but the amount of food for the price is still enough to fill you up. This location has been remodeled, as have most of their branches in SoCal for the past few years. They look so much better with their wood (?) flooring and subway tiled counters. Wish my house looked just as modern. Parking here is tight, with a small, shared parking lot out back. Also, you have to ask for a token to use their bathroom on the side of the building, which you enter from outside. But thankfully, their original beef bowl is always worth the trip. 5 stars for the beef bowl alone!

Your regular yoshinoya place. Nice tasty gyudon.

They skimp a lot on the rice which is weird because I imagine that is one of the cheapest parts of the meal. The beef was kinda weird and low quality but not too bad, steak seems like the much better option in that regard. Teriyaki chicken was solid. I did puke the next morning and I am unsure if it was from this Yoshinoya or something else but based on the weird texture and color of the beef and the fact it’s the last thing I ate before bed I wouldn’t be shocked if this was the cause. The mere fact that I am considering it a possibility that this food made me sick should tell you what you need to know lol. This is a fine alternative if Panda Express is closed if you want cheap fast food for somewhat healthy rice veggie and protein based food, but if it’s available stick to panda.

They tried to put a regular order of orange chicken in a large bowl when I ordered a large.

Food is better than most fast food, but i went to try out their UDON noodles. They were out. Yes it was near closing, but the lady in back, presumably a night manager, just said, "We're out." Then she scolded me for coming 20 minutes before closing. I'm only writing this because my chicken and rice bowl was only half full. I mean, that's the reason we go to Yoshinoya....the overstuffed bowls!

Good food and good prices
