Something was off with the food this time!! New chef?? New recipe?? Have dined many times and this is a first. We'll try again and hopefully will be back to what it used to be.
The good - wife's chicken sandwich and fries! Chicken with a buttermilk battered coat was moist and cooked perfectly, and the bed of slaw upon which it sat was a welcome surprise. The fries were delicious and seasoned well. We shared the calamari apatiser and it was a solid beginning to our meal The bad - I love a good chicken pot pie, they don't have one! Although the pot pie looked great, and huge, it was horrible. The contents were like a watered down can of cream of chicken, but worse than that it had a very unsettling sweet taste, like someone used a cup or more of sugar instead of another ingredient. I've had chicken pot pie all over the place, including overseas, never have I had such an unpleasant experience. I sent back my food, which I never do, and stole half my wife's sandwich. Additional good - did not pay for the chicken pot pie, though I would have since I ordered it. Server was apologetic and removed the charge. Server was busy but attentive and we tipped her well. Nothing to take 'home' as we devoured our apatiser and my wife's chicken sandwich and fries!!!
A varied menu with excellent choices. Large portions and good value.
Misleading advertising on their website claims brunch is available weekends. When we arrived, we were informed they stop serving breakfast at 11 am.

From beginning to end, we had a fantastic experience at this Daily Grill.
Located inside the Marriott hotel across from the airport is very convenient. This no frills grill is spacious with a nice sized bar and a few TVs. I ordered the bbq bacon cheeseburger with fries and the portions were very generous. The burger was medium just as I ordered and the fries were hand cut and crispy. I would definitely recommend (the burger was bud enough for two people to share). The service was very friendly too and the grill was very clean.
Rick is an outstanding server. He anticipates your needs. Food is tasty.
