I love the quality and prices. I order regularly. However for the last few months this particular location has failed tremendously on Uber Eats. Twice I have ordered dinner from them only to cycle through 8-9 drivers before canceling my order. They don't answer their phone and it seems this practice is ok or unnoticed by management. I usually end up reordering from the Glendale location for a higher delivery charge and notice they are faster and also focus a bit more attention on presentation instead of packaging meat next to a ball of rice. If management or ownership reads this, I beg that you fix this issue or at the minimum provide communication. Unacceptable.My Uber driver just sent me the following message:Hello, so i dont know how your order is not ready yet, it shouldve been picked up by 4:50 and its not even ready yet, none of the items are ready, i am so sorry about the inconvenience, its not my fault i lose time as well, but i am not going to cancel it or something, i will bring your food dont worry, thank you so much for understanding.
2nd time at this location and both times have been horrible! Don’t recommend this location at all - the staff is rude, they’ll forget about you and then blame that their system is broken and your order hasn’t been placed after waiting more than 30 minutes. I asked for a refill 3 times and they never brought it out. Overall disappointed in this location and in the management for tolerating that kinda behavior from their servers. The girl server who I brought up the issue to definitely needs some training on how to treat customers because the way she acted and spoke to me was ridiculous ? 0/10 save yourself the trouble and go to bdubs or somewhere else because you will be disappointed. The location in Pasadena would not have provided this service, sad to see that some locations can’t provide good customer service which is the bare minimum
Look. You're not too good for cheap sushi ok? This place is great. I am impressed. $5 Salmon Truffle Hand Rolls cmon. The baked salmon roll is reeeeaaallly yummy too.

I'm was very to surprised to see these reviews after visiting. While the restaurant is small, the food was fresh, fast, and cheap! We stopped in on a Saturday evening after seeing the $1 "Wow" specials. $1 Sake, wine, or beer for happy hour! The food we ordered was quick and much better and fresher than we expected given the price point. Overall a nice little place for some quick and fast sushi and drinks.

Food and prices are good but service is the main issue at this branch. I usually go to the Pasadena location and they’re pretty good, to me at least. The service here is very poor and don’t portray a warm, welcoming experience. I get it, it’s a job and no one is there because they want to but some effort is appreciated. I walked in trying to place a take out order and no server was to be found for like, 5 minutes. On top of that, the music was obnoxiously loud and we’re literally almost touching heads, leaning in just to hear each other. lol The staff definitely needs more direction from their management team.
The food is good and the cook staff is great, but really it's the awful service they provide. The wait staff is annoyed you even showed up, and you're better off taking your own order and giving it to the cooks directly. Never seen a place have such consistently bad service.
We went there for my Nieces Birthday and there were about 8 of us (and a baby) we let the staff know that we wanted to eat and they just said "we can't seat a party like that." We're not opposed to sitting separately but when we saw some tables that we could sit at they refused to clean them. Like the ENTIRE outdoor seating area was dirty and nobody cleaned it for 30 min +. I get it if you're short staffed but the fact that half of your seating was dirty and you had like 3 customers when you had a party waiting is just TERRIBLE service. If you want cheap food, expect cheap service.
