Went on a Sunday evening. Service was excellent, food was terrific, prices were very reasonable!
This was an old Hollywood gem. The food was great but the service was just ok. I had to ask many times to get my water refilled. Could have been a bad day for the wait staff.
Smokehouse was a delightful overall experience. With a 1970âs lodge-type feel, the Smokehouse allows an intimate setting and family style seating both in its large, duel lit, dining room, and staff dressed in bow ties, lends to a charming Sunday brunch. Sunday Brunch less the portions and former brunch bar⦠great steak and eggs, none the lessâ¦. Drove 35 miles and would go back for dinner or lunch with family
WOW, what a wonderful experience we had last night at The Smoke House in Glendale! First, even though tickets for tables were already sold out to see Jimmy Angel perform, Raya, who had taken my call earlier in the day, found a table in the back of the bar area for us that enabled us to hear the performance, which was quite memorable! Then their menuâ¦.what a selection, from BBQ to sandwiches to Prime Rib dinners! Large and plentiful Shrimp Cocktail with the best tasting cocktail sauce weâve ever had, and the Chateaubriand was delicious and cooked to perfection! Allen was our server, told him it was our first time being there, he was very accommodating and was kind enough to give us some of the history of the place! We look forward to returning again, even tho itâs a 30 mile drive, because itâs definitely worth it! â¤ï¸ð
Hadnât been in years due to a move out of town. Went to see a show (Jimmy Angel), made the reservation a week before. Wonderful table, awesome food, not rushed. Glad to see the âold girlâs still standing strong!
Always the best. Hopefully the Sunday Brunch will return in the near future.
Worth it to go here periodically...great food and a trip down memory lane...great service to the customer...chef level food...comfortable seating...you feel valued as a person there
Obsessed with this place
We had a wonderful time at this historic establishment. I wanted to recognize Christian, who went out of his way to make sure our experience was great. Everyone for the most part was very friendly. The food is excellent, as always. The only thing I would say is the pasta primavera was not as tasty as everything else. Best Martinis in town!
