Restaurant is pricey for what you get. Steak is low quality and salty. Tough to chew. California roll low quality. Tasted okay but nothing special
Sansai is a deceptively good spot for lunch or a light dinner. Located in the rear (right) of a fast-food strip mall next to the east entrance to BUR airport , they serve japanese style plates, soups and salads. The prices are low-medium range, lunch will set you back $15 to $20. An unusual feature of this resteraunt is the use of large touch screens to "take" your order, kinda like Mcdonald's. There seems to be plenty of staff waiting behind the counter to hand out orders, I don't see the point of the halfway self-service, but it works well enough. Great spot to eat if you are coming or going from the airport.
Very good food. Had the salmon bowl and it’s great! Comes with rice and your choice of salad. Personally I think the oriental salad is the best. Service is great and orders are ready on time for pick up. Would highly recommend.
The food here is amazing and low in price. If you're staying at the nearby Marriot, don't eat the overpriced hotel food. Go here instead.
Very close to Burbank airport, with friendly and quick service. Ordered the udon and it's very standardized in my opinion, but good. If you're planning on ordering ramen, don't, unless you're looking for a different texture than what you'd get from a Cup of Noodle. Clean and nice!
Service was fast and friendly. The bathrooms and entire dining room were very clean. There is a nice area to eat outside. Free Wi-Fi. Value was decent, the food was tasty (I got the teriyaki chicken bowl with a California roll and mandarin salad). Only thing I would improve would be the California roll, it was mostly rice. Still a great lunch choice, hope this place does well.
I had the chicken bowl lunch special, which comes with teriyaki chicken, rice (I chose brown rice), choice of salad (I picked the kale salad), and either the potstickers or California roll (I got the potstickers). A pretty big portion and it was delicious! This is a nice option to come to when you’re either coming or going from Burbank Airport.
Just had a nice lunch with the family of 4 with the family pack. Delicious California rolls, tempura shrimp, salad, plenty of sticky rice, roasted vegetables, pork and meat and loads of sauces! Enough for the whole week of leftovers!
I'm an Uber driver and I stop here for lunch every time I drop someone off at the airport. The food is so damn tasty and the service is always quick and courteous. The place is always clean and I don't think I've ever seen a dirty table or overflowing trash can. Their lunch special (chicken teriyaki bowl) is so delicious its ridiculous. I've never had a teriyaki bowl with chicken that's THAT tender and juicy EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Whether you're heading to the airport or just leaving, stop by SanSai and get you some grub.
My wife and I are first timers at this place, Marina and the rest of her crew were absolutely FABULOUS!!Very welcoming and patient with our requests. I'm definitely coming back.
