I liked but didn't love this place. I just don't get the hype. Good was okay. I've had better, especially for the price. Didn't even bother to take photos of the food. It was a nice atmosphere. The parking lot was a challenge. I doubt I'll be back. We ordered a shrimp burrito, carnitas burrito, and carnitas bowl, which the staff was very against calling a bowl, but that's what it was.

Place is nice and clean but the customer service sucks both cashier and lady who gives your food seem to be bother by my simple request when placing my order and then asking for a fork. Food was cold and meat hard to chew. Overpriced. No salsa provided and I just felt reluctant to see their grumpy face again for a share of salsa. Will not go back to this place.

My husband and I were travelling through the area and had a craving for Mexican food so I popped onto google maps and found this place. It has over 1,000 reviews & 4.5 stars but unfortunately our experience was a negative one.The restaurant was clean and looked cute from the inside and the outside. parking is limited but you can find some in the nearby residential area so that was not a problem and in LA, limited parking is what is expected. As I checked out the menu and went to order, the lady at the register seemed so bothered by my presence as a polite paying customer who knew exactly what I was ordering. I pushed that out of my mind even as I paid way too much for Mexican food. Upon receiving my food, I noticed there was no salsa bar, no salsa given, and my shrimp burrito was HEAVY on the white rice. My husband's nachos had cheese that had separated and was only melted at the top while the rest sat cold at the bottom. His carne asada burrito was cold in the middle. He had gone to ask for salsa and we received salsa that was completely gelatinous and in no way, shape, or form, salsa. We were starved so we ate the food and immediately had stomach pains. My recommendation is to find any other Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles that won't treat you as a bother, won't sell you half cooked food for ridiculous prices, and has fresh salsa that hasn't been sitting around for who knows how long.

I got a really cold burrito. The tortilla was ice cold and the meat inside too. My wife got nachos and the shredded cheese was not melted at all. They don’t give you napkins of salsas. And the people working there full of aditude, like they are making me a favor. Tables not cleaned and no hand sanitizer. We went there for the reviews but I’m wondering all the 5 star reviews are real?

My wife doesn't like it because it doesn't come from a truck, but it's old school LA Mexican food, and it's good.

I have been going here for over 10 years and needless to say love the food. The menu and food is consistent and I appreciate the Covid precautions. The service is always great as well. Yazmin is always on point and nice even when being charged extra for salsa. I am sure it has been a tough couple of years but glad to see them busy and doing well.

I had a takeout order with a drink and was only handed the food order. I didn't remember the drink until I got home, so partly my fault, but then it wasn't given to me either. I ordered the shrimp burrito and it was good, but it wasn't wrapped tightly enough for me. The ingredients kept falling out.

I was at Poquito Mas about four days ago the older man that was doing the cashiering was nice …chicken was undercooked but I came back because the man was really nice I came this time and I order a tostada I saw a bunch of tostada shells on the shelves I asked him if it was from yesterday or today he said it was from today he lied the shell was rubbery and did not taste fresh period!!!! how do I know them I’m a chef by trade I just wanted a little bit of Mexican food and I use to go there back in 2000 move up north came back to BurbankI was stunned about the flavor of the food hardly no salt salsa no salt flats tostadas bunch of beans with lettuce some chicken and 1 tablespoon of guacamoleI asked if I could get some salad dressing they refused to give me some they could’ve said it would be extra and I would’ve paid for it they don’t give the choice to customer for extra sauce or all salad dressing for an extra charge you don’t give that option service was not desirable the young guy that work as a cashier had an attitude Jesus Mary and Joseph like he hates his jobCold attitude and a mean streak about him I was completely turned off hi younger person has a nasty attitude and the older man that work as a cashier had a better attitude have no word for your 4.3 rating Because in my book being in a restaurant business for 30+ year you do get 4.3 you get a 2.0 And I would’ve appreciated it if you would’ve told me it was a day-old tostada shell Iwould’ve ordered something else ….simply nastyWhat an experience on New Year’s Eve

Where I discovered what good hot sauce is ??? #OG

As we continue to explore small restaurants, we encounter this corner mexican restaurant in Burbank and decided to give it a try! We don't use the ratings first otherwise that will not five them the benefit of the doubt! You order first then they call your order, tables are very clean and sturdy. Staff very friendly and when you ask for extras they don't charge you like big rest chains! Food was delicious it had a different mexican flavor and the meat, that you can call it asada! Shrimp burrito was skillet flatten, not your regular burrito that falls apart when eating! Very affordable! We gave it 4 thumbs up! We don't have any more ;)
