This place is a Burbank institution! They offer a dine-in restaurant featuring many Italian favorites served in large portions, a full deli with all the meats and other fresh food, gelato bar, and a small grocery with tons of imported Italian products. A piece of Italy right on Magnolia! They renovated their dine-in area since last I visited, and it looks so much nicer with the charming booths and rustic decor. Popular with locals and nearby offices for their fast service at the food counter, where you order whether dine-in or to-go. They have their own parking lot, so no worries with that. Massive sandwiches are delicious and does not skimp on the deli meats at all! Not much a fan of their spaghetti in meat sauce though; seems too watered down and doesn't seem to be made from scratch. But you cannot go wrong with their deli sandwiches!
I love this place. In my mind, this It is what an American Italian restaurant should be. I have gone multiple times with my family. The food is not only good but it has a wide variety of drinks. Wine galore, several beer options and multiple non-alcoholic options.
Loved the atmosphere and the service was wonderful. The patrons were friendly and varied in apparel from sparkled mini dresses to jeans and tshirts. We sat out on the small covered patio to eat, such a nice little spot.I had the butternut squash ravioli and my friend had the monte Carlo sandwich. Both tasty, and the sandwich came with 2 sides.i have to say that the potatoes salad was the best! We also took home lasma and another sandwich for my friends at home, followed by the decadent slice of chocolate cake and the amazing carrot cake. This is a great place to get a meal and many deli favorites as well. There is a deli attached and they are quick and efficient. Just want to say that I also loved that the staff included some older, well older, men that ward my heart. Looked like a family deal and everyone pitched in. Good to see that, wish it were the case in more places!Keep up the good work!
Great tasting food, great ambience, not overpriced.Edit: Came back a second time and the food wasn't very good. First time I had the lasagna second time was the chicken parm sub Rating dropped from 5 to 3 stars.
Authentic, deli-style Italian food. Prices that can't be beat.Great interior decor and small outdoor eating area. I feel like I'm in Brooklyn in 1973 when I eat there - it's great!
The price is right and the food is delicious.Line moves faster than you expect.
The best Italian food and pizza as well as many unique Italian ingredients, meats and desserts. Not a fan of the long line to get served since it's cafeteria style but the food is worth the wait. Also try the gelato. My favorite there is the balsamic fig gelato. Trust me it's outstanding.
Been going here for years! Great food! Great Italian Deli. Friendly staff. Fast service. Favorites are the Eggplant parmesan, meatball sandwich, canoli, and Gelato
Beautiful market and the dolce and cookies are amazing. But the worst pizza I've ever had in my entire life.Dough was so extremely heavy.. way too.much cheese.. so much grease we had to dip it off with more than 6 napkins full of grease.
They don't need any more positive reviews. They're always busy because their food is amazing. Always worth the drive. The gelato is so creamy it's gotta be criminal. They've kept a good ambiance for an overall good dining experience. Lots of great beverage options too
