Friendly bartenders, good drinks
It looked like a great place to grab a drink. I ended up not being able to check in. So I can't say for sure how great it is.It gets a 3 for ambience.

This bar is great. Beer is cold and staff is very professional!!
Growing up in New York and eating amazing Italian food on a regular basis, I don't generally have high expectations for LA Italian food. I was pleasantly surprised by maccheroni republic's gnocchi (not the most pillowy, but still very very soft) and bruschetta. The bruschetta was unusual, having cucumbers and mozzarella in addition to the tomatoes. But whatever seasoning was on that mix and combined with their sourdough toasts just blew me away. Well done.

You just cannot go wrong with the bianchi e neri. It is delicious, and I highly recommend it!
Just a few blocks from our condo on S Broadway the little place has some of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Lunch and/or dinner (sadly during COVID-19 it's only take away), great service, friendly staff, remarkable food (fresh home made pasta) and surprisingly decent prices ... highly recommended
Great atmosphere, drinks are great and reasonable priced. Staff is very friendly and very warm. Great place to stay.
