Needed some gnocchi, so I paid them a visit. Amazingly they had at least 5 brands to choose from, I think all of them imported from Italy! Only down side is staff was not able to answer questions about the brands. I wish I could give 4.5 stars.This is a great place if you need to shop Italian food ingredients. The market is small but it has a lot of great stuff.
What a well rounded, old school Itaian-style deli should look like! The Italian imported goods are second to none in quality. Service is very friendly and fast and the food they sell, dine-in or to-go, is simply amazing. If you're looking to make some Italian dinner using authentic, quality ingredients--including items such as pancetta, guanciale, DOP San Marzano tomatoes, and artisanal pastas, here here you can find all of that and much more. 2022.03-27/SUN_1700: Came here for a surprise birthday party so we arrived early to grab some tables since it's self serve! All three dining rooms were open. There are many places to dine. There are many two-top tables outside and three dining rooms in the inside. One is attached to the deli, then there's a more private dining room next to that one, then there's another dining room back by the bathrooms which is attached to another dining room that is on a patio!Being that they are known for their authentic Italian food, I knew that their tomato-based sauce must be stewed for hours so I decided to take a gamble. I'm highly allergic to tomatoes but if they cook their sauce for hours, I may be able to eat it. Sure enough, I was able to eat it! Wooooo hoooo!We got the Chicken Parmesan, a side of seven meatballs, a side of the meat sauce and a side of the mushroom salad. They had real Chicken Parmesan that wasn't breaded! Deliciousness! It couldn't be more perfect. If you're on a keto, carnivore or high protein diet, this restaurant can accommodate it! Now, we'll definitely be back! I had to remove Italian cuisine out of my diet due to the tomatoes. I'm ecstatic right now!The best part of the Monte Carlo Delicatessen/Pinocchio restaurant is the market that is attached to it. They have all kinds of Italian desserts like Gelato and Cannolis. They also have everything you need to make Italian food that is imported like their Sesame Breadsticks. You can purchase their dough, sauces and meatballs. It's a deli so they have deli meats you can purchase by the pound and fresh cheeses that are also made in-house! They also have a huge wine selection and I found my favorite Chianti that I wasn't able to find anywhere but here and another restaurant that's called Micelli's.Love this place. I've been going to Monte Carlo since I was a little kid. Great cold cuts, cheese, meats, bread, pasta, wine, Imported products from Italy ? the list goes on & on. If you're Italian and you haven't been to Monte Carlos in Burbank you don't know what you're missing. That said, if you're Italian and you're on a diet, stay the hell away ?
Loved the wide variety of deli meats and cheeses! The line moves fast which is perfect if your in a rush and plenty of parking. Their maple glaze boar head turkey is delicious.
My father helped Joe musso open the deli in 1953. I grew up with Natalie and his son Cosmo to the most wonderful people I've ever met. The deli used to have more of a family feel but most of the old timers are gone but it's still a great place to shop for wonderful meats, cheeses, pastas even vegetables now. And the prices are still great. The bread? The sausage. What else can I say? Amazing place. Too many great memories and you know I've always been impressed since I was a little tyke of the bread slicing machine which is still in operation since the '50s
Great restaurant and Italian market. Cafeteria style good food plenty of seating. Friendly staff, parking can be a challenge. Been going there for 35 years.
Their customer service was just okay but the food was great

A friend told us they had the best sausage... so we stopped to pick up some... and we were blown away to find crazy good main courses you could eat there or take home. I waited on line for the sausage... my wife got us some lasagna to go. Delicious. Only sad that we weren't able to sample the awesome looking Gelato on this trip. Next time!!!
