It's the best Bakery.. when I was a kid my Mom worked a local coffee shop. They served tea cakes my brother and sister grow up on them. That was about 65 years ago. I could find them for years. I don't remember when I saw an article about one of the old bakers had recipes for all of the old goodies. Martino's came back the same, all everyone's favorites.Thank you.
If I could give less than one star I would. I ordered a cake with a specific design and this is what I got after they gave me a cake with someone else’s design on it. I had this party planned for 2 months and it was supposed to be a surprise and they literally ruined this entire day. It was late and I got the worst quality product I have ever received. I didn’t even ask for it to be made this way. This is a joke and I’m embarrassed to even bring this. I’m so upset. This was the worst customer service I’ve ever received and not once did they even mention a refund. I’m so upset. The reviews for this place is what got me in the door the first place. This was supposed to be for a 30th surprise party and this is what I got. Way to ruin someone’s entire day.
Had a Danish and a drink while waiting for our car to be done with the car wash around the corner this is Ben the best go to Bakery in Burbank for many decades! Nobody beats their tea cakes!!
Locals know how great this place is. I married someone who grew up here and have only been enjoying their tasty treats for a few years. Everything they make is wonderful but they are best known for their teacakes. I can't say enough good things about this place. They have plenty of teacakes made and boxed up - we often buy several dozen to bring home when in the area. It's always fun visiting with the folks in line - last time I chatted with a man in from Colorado who was stocking up. They also ship so you never have to be without a Martino's treat.
Great customer service! I ordered a cake a week before my baby shower and they were very helpful/accommodating. The cake was beautiful and delicious! I was also able to order cookies and tea cakes which everyone enjoyed. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to fill a dessert table or if you want to stop by and pick up a pastry or filled croissant.

The teas cakes are why I come here. I have been satisfying this craving for years. They are just so muist and fluffy. To say delicious is an understatement. You can never have one.
