Amazing little spot! Some of the best pastries I have ever had. I just wish the space was bigger and you could sit down inside. But everything is delicious, well made, and the space is super cute, clean and the staff are super nice. Highly recommend!
I walked right in and got 2 quiche to go. They're very nice there. It is take out only. There was a couple people outside ordering on the app and they told me I could go inside and order at the counter. The quiche is 5 it's too thin diameter and was good.
My favorite restaurant I tried while in L.A.! My family ate here twice, and we tried at least 10 different menu items. Everything was perfect. Our favorites: Kouign-amann, lemon tart, vanilla choux, quiche, savory crepe. All light, fluffy, delicate, and balanced flavors. One of my favorite restaurants ever. Don't miss out!
If your looking for some really good French pastries, check out Le French Rooster here in Burbank. We ordered the Kouign Amann, which is similar to a croissant, but round. One of my favorites places to go to. I've tried several pastries and sandwiches, and I'm never disappointed. The staff is always pleasant and kind.
Very friendly. Owners are French (husband, pastry chef) and Mexican (wife). I noticed her accent and started speaking in French until she told me she's still learning. So we chatted in a mix of French, Spanish, English. It was almost as fun as the food. Be sure to order a baguette sandwich, very authentic French bakery lunch. Pastries are lovely.
My first time to this charming slice of Paris in Burbank! The raspberry tart, quiche & brioches are delicious! My boyfriend & I absolutely loved these treats. So fresh & artfully made. Ordered a half portion of the Parisien sandwich and it was truly superb. The baguette was so light and chewy and full of flavor, and very fresh too. Ordered a pastry for my daughter and she raved about it. I will definitely be back to order this again and try some of their other offerings. Very friendly, clean and efficient service!!
