On good days it’s delicious especially when everything tastes fresh. But on too many occasions I’ve been encountering overcooked seafood or meats, over salted, and or taste of mold in my food, which is a shame because this restaurant is just minutes walk from where I live.
I love this place. Been here a while ago, one of the best restaurants in Burbank. Always love the sangria.

We enjoyed our visit to La Bamba. It is a kind of fusion restaurant with “Caribbean soul food”. I had a shrimp dish and my partner had a Cuban sandwich. the atmosphere is wonderful on the outdoor patio, especially in the summer. The restaurant was busy and with good reason. The food was delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. the prices are extremely reasonable as well. I am happy to recommend it to everyone.
Service lacked a bit, drinks good, food okay. Was hoping for Puerto Rican style, but not even close. Service was the main issue for me. Waiter looked lost.
This was my first time at this restaurant. I came here because I saw the reviews, but when I arrived and ate the food I was a little disappointed. We were seated right away and then after it took about 15 minutes for the server to come to us. It wasn't really that busy, but the server kept passing us up, until the owner notice we weren't being helped. Finally we were helped and we got our food. We had some chips and salsa while we were waiting. The chips were somewhat stale, but the salsa was delicious. I had fish talipia tacos with rice and beans and my friend had rice and black beans. We both did not like the rice and beans very much but everything else was delicious. However, I wouldn't drive all the way out here again just for the restaurant and something I would not recommend.

Food was good but they had the audacity to charge me $3.50 for soda water when I had purchased two alcoholic drinks. Also only gave the happy hour price on one of the drinks because one of them was ordered 10 minutes before happy hour. I am so sick of this predatory business world we are living in. Scummy.
I definitely suggest trying their Margarita-- it was incredible! Also, their Torta Sandwhich is amazing. The environment of the establishment is wonderful, as well as the service. We were treated very kindly and our food was brought out quickly! If you're ever in the Burbank area, this place is a MUST go.
