This is my fourth visit to this hotel, formerly the Holiday Inn Media Center. Centrally located to many eateries and shopping, as well as Universal and Hollywood. Area excellent for walking and exploring. Staff is friendly and they keep the hotel clean and updated. The only downside is having to pay for parking. I would recommend it.
Stayed at the Hotel Burbank for 3 days and found the hotel to be clean, large room with a view of the mountains, perfectly located to access restaurants and stores on San Fernando Blvd in downtown Burbank. I liked the security features. Parking very convenient. Matthew at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. Person who handles the cafe in the morning was pleasant to deal with (sorry don't know her name). I would recommend a stay there
This is a very nice hotel, just out of the freeway and easy to find. It also is very well connected with other places in Burbank. They have parking on site, this is very helpful. The staff is awesome!
My reference point is comparison to the former Burbank Holiday Inn, purchased by the current Hotel Burbank late last year. Since then, prices have increased, while quality of service and cleanliness has decreased. In 4 stays so far this year, perfunctory bordering on impolite desk staff have been the rule, not the exception. For most stays, I've been sandwiched in next to noisy, noisy NOISY guests in other rooms, despite ample vacancies. I'm sure this is a good business practice for increasing hotel profits (put as many guests as possible as close together as possible, for housekeeping efficiency), but for creating a pleasant/relaxing visitor experience, it's awful, if not insulting. The lobby has been overhauled. The rooms? Not so much, unless you appreciate the aesthetic of painting over old toilet seats to give them a fresh new look, and trust soaps that carry the warning, "for adult use only." The last straw, during my latest visit, was stinkweed permeating the corridor of the floor I was on. If the current owners really believe striving for a cold, Amsterdam hostel ambience trumps the former good-value, meat-and-potatoes Burbank Holiday Inn hotel experience, I can only hope the bottom line shows them the error of their ways before they drive the place into the ground.
The hotel stay was great there were a few hiccups but the staff took care of everything immediately which made it ok . I can’t say enough good things about the staff from the front desk to the maid staff and last but not least Maria in the cafe were great can’t wait to stay there again . The location is awesome with plenty of good restaurants to choose from all in walking distance down San Fernando st. Jose Aguilar
Hotel is older but in a great location, close to shopping and attractions..room were average but it looks like they are in the process of remodeling. Elevators were small and only two so they were slow. Not much amenities but, again, they were remodeling so it looks like they are adding a bar and restaurant soon. For the price I would stay there again. Free shuttle to airport!
This Hotel is very spacious. The hallways are wide and the rooms are spacious and the lobby is big and comfortable. The service was great. They helped me get a late check out. The pool was nice and clean and it was a nice area to relax. The location is perfect for downtown Burbank. It is close to great places to eat and a movie theater and we were able to walk to a nice hike in the hills and it is really close to the Burbank airport. You need to Uber to the airport but it is a quick trip. I liked the decor in the lobby.
I had 6 nights to stay here but sadly I had to leave the second night. There was 2 cockroaches by the floor next to the bed I called front desk to tell them to have someone come remove them but once I came back to see where they were they disappeared. I had to pack up all my things and leave sadly. I just didn't feel comfortable to even get a new room since they offered me that option... but I had them refund me back. The customer service was great
Girl’s Getaway. I recently stayed at the Hotel Burbank. Overall I enjoyed the stay. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly: A big shout out to the following staff members for going the extra mile: Shannon, Anthony, Matthew, and Kaitlyn. A couple of points that I think need improving. More staff need to be at the front desk in order to minimize the wait for guests on that line. It is important to keep that line to a bare minimum. Hotel guests use the front desk for a variety of reasons- to ask questions, check in or out, pick up packages, and request items to be sent to the room. Many times throughout our weekend stay, the line was ridiculously long. Also, one thing we noticed from our stay is that it seems the Southwest airline employees are given some perks that the regular guests are not. And it’s very obvious (a quicker, different line in the lobby, snacks when they arrive, etc.) I understand that the management wants those guests to be happy as I’m sure the contract between the hotel and the airline is very lucrative, but please make sure that it is not to the point that the regular, non airline guests feel slighted or left out. Just my two cents but how hard is it really to have snacks and water for all guests upon arrival at the hotel?!! Food for thought… I enjoyed the pool and fitness center. Food at the cafe was good. A bit pricey though but what isn’t these days.
Helped by Ethan. Exceptional customer service. He was very friendly. Hotel has a Cafe, outside pool, sauna and gym. The pool is not as big, but it still serves the purpose. Hotel also has it's own parking. This will be my go to hotel while in California.
