We love this place and go here at least a few times a month. Food is great. I would suggest Harami for the meat and the sukiyaki bibimbap rice. I wish they would clean up the place a little more. Even though the place is fairly new the furniture looks old and need to be updated or repainted. Maybe the franchise needs to do a better job picking better color and material.

Dinner with Rey, Jim and Raf

The experience was awesome! The host Courtney was so friendly and so was our server Emily! The food was great! I highly recommend the fried dumplings ?

Good food and great choices

It was really good first time going to something like this cook food with a grill on your table. Nice place for date night. Food comes fast It is raw so you do have to pay attention and cook it I will definitely go back try something different. Lot of different things and opinions.

We have been to many Gyu-kakus and were very impressed by this one. It is located in a beautiful downtown area and looks like it has been recently remodeled. We were a larger group around 12 people so they gave us a beautiful table with two barbecue burners. It’s the table directly straight as soon as you walk in. The service was great and the food was amazing. They have lots of all you can eat options starting at $45 all the way up to $65. It varies if you want to include seafood and other premium appetizers. You can also order à la cart as well if you’d like. They are a big chain and if you haven’t tried them you should definitely give it a shot.

We always come here at least once a month, the service is usually good and the food is delicious, however today we received superior customer service by Gus. Gus was friendly, attentive & hospitable, he made sure all of our needs were met the whole time we were there with a smile. The 5 starts are exclusively for him. Thank you Gus for your great service ?

With all the Japanese restaurants in this area you’d think the folks who work here would try and not be actively hostile to customers. But they’ve got a hostess who seems to resent the presence of diners unless it’s a party of her drunk friends. If you’re craving Japanese just walk two blocks up Sam Fernando and take your pick of half a dozen better places

We've never had Japanese Bbq before and eating there was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and helped explain how to order and cook. The neighborhood is very nice too. We bought a bottle of their 'secret' sesame miso salad dressing which was amazing. We'll go back.

Excellent food. Service was okay, but i know lots of restaurants understaffed.
