Loved Guisados since my first visit to their first location years ago. Tacos with braised meats and handmade tortillas. Get the mini sampler, it’s the best deal. Love the chicken mole, chicarron. The melon agua fresca was great tooSkip the quesadillas (they are corn tortillas tacos with cheese, they are not big slices made with flour tortillas we were expecting for the price) and skip the chicken tamale if you can’t handle spicy. A bit of outdoor seating and indoor seating, they bring food out to you.Free parking at the mall nearby
It is a bit different than most of us are used to when it comes to Taco's but good news it is Outstanding. The flavor is great. Food ingredients are of high quality. Pleasant place inside and out. And service is top notch. TRY IT1
Great tacos. Guisados adds their own twist on authentic tacos but it's amazing. The proteins are braised so it makes them very juicy and full of flavor. I got the shrimp taco, the mole poblano and the last one was one of the stakes I forgot which one but they were all phenomenal. You've never been I would highly suggest checking it out and I'd love to come back.
Fantastic food!!!! and even better service. Food was delayed only 30 seconds, which is not a big deal at all, but they gave me a free taco just to make up for it. Really wonderful crew working there.
I had a shrimp taco and a calabacita taco. I liked them both and would recommend them. This was my second time visiting this place. The first time (which was quite some time ago) I had a couple of cochinita pibil tacos and didn't like them very much. I think I need to give the cochinita another try.
My wife and I love guisados. Yes it's pricey, but it's dang good, we always get a selection of different meats and sometimes vegetarian options, my wife loved their Jamaica drink as well. tacos aren't cheap, but they're really good and you can tell they took time to create the dishes and tortillas.
I'm glad to see Guidados is succeeding. They started in Boyle Heights and now they're all over town. Their concept has always been great. Instead of street tacos they make home style tacos like Mexican mom's make. Yes, Mexican home style tacos are made of diverse meat stews and not like street tacos people are mostly familiar with. I loved the service here and the ambience is great.
So many choices, so little time. 3 tacos per person should fill up an adult. I had 2 different pork, Chuleta and Chorizo, and the Quesadilla. Rapid service, fine atmosphere, comfortably warm on a cold rainy night. All naturally gluten free. Slightly spicy, but enough to be very tasty.
Service was fast and awesome. There was a family feel and vibe that we enjoyed.
I guess you could classify these as "gourmet tacos". They are alittle pricy as far a tacos go($3+), but the unique delicious flavors and the top notch quality of the ingredients make it totally worth it. The molè is one of their most popular taco and is a must try for first timers(it is not very spicy), but my favorite one has to be steak picado. Can't wait to go back.
