I've been going to Gordon Biersch off and on for over 15 years, including the Tempe Arizona location when i travel there for work, and I finally needed to give some props to Burbank. Staff is always courteous, helpful in giving their honest opinions of dishes. We had a great waiter, he recommended the Chicken Schnitzel and I absolutely loved the seasoning of the dish. Added the grilled green beans cooked perfectly and with the garlic mashed potatoes I was loving life. My friend had the 12 oz. steak, gave thumbs up on the both the qualify and tenderness of the beef and the accuracy in cooking it medium. The unsweetened ice tea one of the best I've had at any restaurant and our waiter gladly provided multiples for me. My friend tested several beers and was pleased in selecting his favorite. While the dinner menu is not extensive, everything they plate out to customers is top notch. I've also been a fan of their pizzas too and they seemed to be popular at nearby tables. Finished dinner with the Creme Brulee Cheesecake and It was the perfect cap to this meal. One of the best cheesecake desserts out there, very well executed.
Local Brewery with absolutely legendary Shnitzel, and other German offerings. This is the best German food I have ever had in the States. They have fantastic BBQ ribs, great soups, and fantastic sides and Appetizers. Definitely try their beers too! They’re great, and the servers know how to pair them effectively with your meal. Service is spectacular, and the prices are reasonable. I have been here 5 times in the last month! Lots of celebrity clientele here. Even saw YNG Zuck here last time! Highly recommend this one!
We went in for drinks and appetizers by the bar, really quick and great customers service. Food was delicious!
I come here regularly with friends and I just absolutely love it! The pretzel appetizer with cheese and other dipping sauces, and the burger is what I always get. The beer is awesome and the staff is super freaking friendly and accommodating, even over the phone when making reservations.
A great spot to grab a beer and a bite. Very good ambience. Sports playing on the televisions. Staff is friendly. Drink prices are fair. The growler fills are a good price. Their house beer is very light and smooth tasting. I didn't try the food this time, which is why 4 stars. Will definitely try the food next time and change review if need be.
From the moment you walk in, you feel like a true guest. The entire staff was polite, positive and friendly. They were not pushy or rush you at all. The food is AMAZING, it really does not matter what you order. It all has flavor and is fresh, just the way you would expect it. Even though their menu is limited due to Covid-19, they still have quite a selection to choose from. They have a great selection of beers and you can sample before ordering a glass. The restaurant is absolutely clean from top to bottom and the atmosphere is very welcome and inviting. A little bit pricer than some restaurants, but definitely worth it!
The beers and appetizers were excellent, but the food was not good and did not have good quality and good taste. The table was very dirty and greasy that we asked to clean again , the management considering the spreading of Covid 19, it is better to use disposable paper towels to clean the table, not reusable towels.,this was one of the negative points that should be paid more attention too, and it is the weakness of management .
This place has been a Burbank staple for years. I haven't been here since I was 17. And I'm happy to tell you that at 39 this place still rocks. TRY THE GARLIC FRIES!!!
Came here to celebrate daughter's birthday with her friends and family and went off quite well. Server Travis was helpful and the bar tender did some great manhattan and old fashioned with rye whiskey. Garlic fries, brussel sprouts were great. Main course had pan seared tuna, fish tacos and burger. Great interiors and patio seating. Had a great time and recommended.
Really solid, good food (try the salmon and mashed potatoes) with friendly service to boot. Outdoor patio is cute with bistro lights and the atmosphere is pleasant and lively. Prices are reasonable.
