Beautiful restaurant , delicious food and Very good service.
Walked in then walked right out due to bad attitude. Too many good restaurants to put up with that. I should learn by now that when no one is dining inside when the neighboring restaurants are packed, it's for good reason.Four cooks were standing in the kitchen just watching. Send them home!! When I was in High School working these jobs, I certainly didn't stand around. People used to get sent home for that. The reply was full of assumptions ( which is why I'm editing) but I ended up going to another Thai place nearby where the food and ambience was wonderful. So these people did me a favor. When I would give empty restaurants a chance I'd be disappointed all the time. On a Saturday night, if they were worth their salt, they'd be busy.Hope you go out of business; it's what you truly deserve.
Walked in at 8:53 PM and they said they were closing soon and wouldn't seat me. The place was packed outside with groups that would have been there much later than I. Nevertheless, they close at 9 PM and have a sign lit up OPEN . I used to get takeout there and was excited to go back; and when I eat I like to spend and come back over and over! Nice job blowing it Gindi Thai. I will never ever return!
Ordered food tonight at 7:51PM over the phone, they told us to wait for 35 mins to pick it up. Went to the restaurant to get the food at 8:52PM and told us that the food was stolen or was taken by someone else. Not even an apology. They told us to wait another 5 mins. After that, we went back and to grab the food and the cashier guy was somewhat just out of it - told us to pay for it, didn’t give us any confirmation if the payment went through so we walked away, and then called us back to sign the receipt. Worst thing is not even a sanitize pen was available. All pens were dirty! We would have let it slide if they apologize but no, they were so full of themselves about it.Edit: Who is Josh? I don’t know anyone named Josh and definitely not the guy I was with that night.
It’s the first time I eaten here. The food here is good! The waiting time is a bit long though. Seem like don’t have enough stuff members in the moment, so it takes a while for them to prepare your food.
food and service were excellent.
Nice outside atmosphere. Be ready to sit outside if your not vaccinated. The food was OK. It was expensive and not worth the price in our opinion. The lunch menu is not very clear. I asked to substitute the 4 pieces of California roll that came with the lunch plate for 4 pieces of a veggie roll and they had to check with the manager for such a small request. It was strange. Not the best customer service as well.
Disappointing.Pad Thai is just noodles with almost no protein and no veggies at all! A sparse few bits of chicken and only 2 medium-small shrimp. Maybe 4 thin thin tofu strips. No typical pad Thai veggies at all - scallions don’t count.I even asked, when ordering takeout, if it had “vegetables in it like broccoli?” And the guys said yes yes exuberantly. No, it did not. Just a pinch of too thickly cut, bone-hard raw carrots over top.Flavor was average to good, but I t’s certainly nothing to write home about with so many great cheap Thai places around. I get cutting corners for the Covid slow down…but this price tag is way too high for a plate of dirt cheap rice noodles with a little sauce ;)Hamachi had zero flavor which is weird. I’ve never not liked hamachi. $27 bill was not fulfilled with gratification :/Next!
What a Surprise. Thought I was going to the best Thai in town for years. Till I went to this great place. Gindi Thai IS the Best!!!!!
Recommend the green beans and the yellow curry chicken and the flat noodles . Also the place was very nice and service was great .
