I couldn’t finish my food because the flavors were so offensive and overwhelming in the worst way. I was extremely disappointed, being a Mexican American I didn’t expect authentic but I thought the food would at least be good. The food was super salty and over seasoned. The only non alcoholic drinks they had was water, coke, diet and sprite. My sisters enchilada had almost no sauce and everything had way too much cheese.Worst customer service. My utensils were dirty so I asked for new ones. The waiter took some from the table next to us and tossed them next to me. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone not even my worst enemy.
Aye yi yi! Don Cuco’s can’t be missed. Classic Mexican food in Southern California. Really nice little place with cozy booths and great margaritas!Everybody is smiling and the food is flowing. Everything about the place is laid back and copacetic.Killer chile rellenos ✅Refried beans done right ✅+ Super savory salsa ✅Fishbowl size margaritas ✅Muy Beuno!
I am a vegetarian. I have had Mexican food in the US for over 20 years. Hands down the best Mexican vegetarian food I have had.Excellent chips and salsa, followed by Burrito, and cheese enchiladas. Top notch. I would go there everyday if I can. Unfortunate I am here on a vacation and wouldn’t be here for too long, but I hope to come back to have your tasty food again. Kudos to the friendly staff.
I ate here whilst on vacation, I love Mexican food and this place was always busy. I was a little disappointed, the food was OK, definitely not the best Mexican that I have had and it was a little pricey. The service was good.
Bar service is excellent and the food is consistently good. Check your order if picking up to go because they do have a tendency to screw up the order in the kitchen. Also total bromance no woman at the bar to socialize with!
Great food and attentive service!
Five of us enjoyed fast, friendly service - tasty food and margarita's. Next time we're in town we'll return!
Food and Service always on point! Thank you Don Cuco and Fam!
Nice not-so-little place serving delicious Mexican food. I had the Cochinita Pibil which tasted so good. Their portion sizes are huge and the fresh chips before your meal definitely fill you up. We also had some chicken dishes and some of it was slightly overcooked, wouldn't recommend. Their margherita was decent as well. Overall, a good place to go if you are in the area but not one you would go out of the way to get there.
What's not to love about this place? From the great food and margaritas to the fantastic service and lively atmosphere Don Cuco's is a fun place to meet and eat. Be sure to admire the decor; beautiful tile work, creative cactus chandeliers and stained glass. The menu is extensive and we all enjoyed everything from the soup to the fish tacos and of course chips and salsa. Super staff, they are friendly and fast. But seriously, try those margaritas - you won't be sorry.
