I made a reservation more than a week ago, hoping to get an outside table. I wrote twice asking also since it was a special occasion. They said they canât do that and made no attempt to try. We arrived 30 minutes early. They still did not seat us out side when tables we saw were still available. First thing the host said when we checked in was, âyou are only allowed 1 1\2 hours at the tableâ. Rude and aggressive. Our waiter was pleasant but clearly new and confused from the get go. The music was very loud and not suitable for dining, it was more like a club atmosphere. Our order was coming out all separately and at random times. Twice our waiter argued with another waiter in front of our table who was bringing the wrong food out at the wrong time. Martinis were very small and not even filled properly, they were a bit more than half of a small glass. The food was good. Overall. It felt like we were in a club run by a bunch of high school kids. Running, rushing, with loud music in the background. It was also quite offensive for the way the majority of the patrons were dressed. We believed it was a much more upscale restaurant, when in fact it felt like a crowd from Disneyland. Clearly you do not enforce the dress code. For the prices and atmosphere it is way overrated and overpriced. We had been here twice in the past few years, it changed tremendously, and not for the best.
I order a ribeye med rare. It came med. the waitress tried to tell me it was a little more then med rare. I sent it back. It came back med rare but was so chewy I left it. I paid $52 for a steak I didnât eat. Very disappointed. Service was less then stellar.

We absolutely enjoyed our dining experience at Castaway!! The ambience, the food, the views, the service - everything was superb and exceeded our expectations! My husband enjoyed his birthday brunch and we will be back soon!
Went for a birthday brunch and was so blown away! Great restaurant, staff was very nice, the view was awesome. Only complaint was I reserved a table for 8 and they wouldnât seat us until most of us were there but it ended up being fine. Absolutely loved everything, will definitely go again. Our waitress Sarah was soooo great and the manager Michael treated us like close friends. Canât say enough good things about it!
The music was really loud and it prevent is from hearing each other.since it is really crowded itâs not very convient to have that much loud music!

We sat right at our reservation time, but the table service was slow. Food was great.
