3pm on a Sunday. Waited approx 30 min for a table of 4. Overall it was very Underwhelming. Service was fine. Food was ok. Had some issues with the non creamy pasta. Pizza and salad were tasty. Probably never going to go back.
1 1/2 minute read:My wife got two California Pizza Kitchen Gift cards, from her job. This afternoon we went there to try them out. They’re located in Burbank right off the 5 North Freeway. Right across where IKEAS’ original site was.The place has a busy ambiance. Waiters & Waitresses scurrying around, Happy Customers chatting, Pizza Cooks Cooking, and Bar Tenders TENDING.The menus is very well thought out and whatever you pick, they will prepare it fresh.Se had Shrimp Scampi and a pizza with the works, a Sangria Margarita and. Cucumber ‘something or other.’It was very very good. We enjoyed the visit immensely.BTW, we were greeted by a very polite young man and our Waitress (LUCIA) was attentive, polite, very helpful and had a Gr8 smile. You’ll recognize her by her infectious smile, when you see the photos I took. There are several CPK all over. But if in BURBANK, go say HI to Lucia. Tell Lucia, “the old Guy with the missing front “tooff”, sent us???
Delicious! The pasta and pizza were very good. Great service and very attentive. Would definitely return
Sure glad this place is still open after Ikea moved. I haven't been here in years, but it's still one of my favorite places to eat. There are no crowds at all since IKEA is gone. So I'm worried they won't stay around.
I'm sure they were doing their best, but the wait was crazy long and the poor hostess seemed stressed and inexperienced. Had to leave after waiting I hour for seating, when told it would be 20 min. Just wanted to warn everyone
Don’t ever order takeout from CPK. It is awful EVERY SINGLE TIME. I waited for an hour and a half for my food only for the order to get cancelled without any kind of update or warning. Even if I do get my food after an hour or more, it’s usually cold. It’s obvious this location doesn’t pay attention to their takeout orders and should not have it be an option if they cannot keep up with them. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I’ve only ever had consistent problems getting takeout from CPK, nowhere else. It’s a shame. I love the food, but this is enough for me to never go again.
Love going to CPK. This on in particular is convenient since Chevy's across the street shut down and IKEA moved down the street. It is easier to get a table within 15 minutes and the service is fast. My top recommendations are the Sicilian pizza, Sedona tortilla & Potato soups, and the lettuce wraps.
Overall great selection of pizzas and menu’s options if you are not feeling like pizza. Their salads are great and full of flavor …
Got the spicy Sicilian and they actually adjusted the order to make it extra spicy by adding a bunch of serrano peppers. Went with our 4 kids and our server put in their order right away - food was tasty, fast, and drinks were refilled quickly. Great experience at this location - tons of parking in the garage located immediately adjacent.
The service was helpful as heck and that made the food even more enjoyable
