This is a good place to go to if you don't mind getting your hands dirty. Overall, food was reasonably priced and decent.Service was quick and the servers were nice and attentive. One of the servers even offered a suggestion of adding lemon into a small cup of salt and pepper then dipping our food in it, which I appreciate. The restaurant itself is nicely themed and well kept. I imagine this could be a great place to share a meal with your friends.
I’ve been coming here for years and my most recent visit this week was amazing! The staff was super attentive and accommodating. Our food was quick and super hot ! We had the shrimp and potatoes, everything was delicious and as always, super flavorful. I also tried the wings for the first time and they were crispy and crunchy. It’s a good standard place for when you want Cajun without the crazy crazy wait times of other places!
Shrimp is always good never tastes dirty, kickin' style mild recommended. Fries always served hot good enough too. Usually packed but never waited over 40-45 minutes, walk around the mall till they call or check the waitlist. Prices very by market price. 2lb shrimp and some fries is my go to ends up being 60-70 after tip. Tip your servers. They are always around to help.
food was great and staff was super chill ? this was the only pic I took there LMAO
Feel like this place is taking advantage of the Market Price, if you're visiting the local nearby attraction like Disneyland or Knott's Berry Farm, I can promise you can fine just as good or even better broiled seafood in Garden Grove or other neighboring cities in the same county.
Had the combo 3. The food was good. I think they need to use a thicker french fries, instead of shoe string fries. Like Ore-Ida extra crispy seasoned crinkles.
The food is great! The prices were a little high, but that was expected. The atmosphere was fun, and it has a relaxed vibe. I went to celebrate a friend's birthday, even though I'm NOT a seafood eater. I was pleasantly surprised that there was not an overwhelming "fishy" smell. I did sample some crab legs and they were actually pretty tasty! I'm all about the sauce tho!! It was sooo good. The things I wasn't wild about were the parking (out of the control of the establishment so I can't be too mad) and the wait. We were there for nearly two hours, and although I realize crab is time-intensive to eat, it took a long time to even get the food. It won't keep me from going back, but it did keep me from awarding 5 stars.
One of the restaurants open near the Kirkorian movie theater mall.Ordered a #1 combo for lunch with 2 sodas, $64 tax and tip with leftovers, so enough to feed three for lunch. The shrimp, mussels, potatoes, and small clams - all delicious. Corn on the cob was a touch on the tougher side but edible, and reminded me of bringing mayo to flavor it like Mexican street corn. (Not that corn is why we're all here.)Service was good and prompt given the corona, everyone was at least 1 table apart, and no issues. Everyone from the Vietnamese grandmas to the young couples looked like they were enjoying their meals, and took their time eating and chatting.A very good place to have a relaxing lunch and chat!
Friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere. It's fun to go eat seafood and watch sports. Not for those easily grossed out by food or eating with your hands.
1st and last time here. The shrimp tasted like they had previously been frozen. They had no flavor at all. Seems as tho they just threw the juice in bag after they defrost the shrimp...The snow crab legs where old. Couldn't even Crack the shell to get the meat out.The corn where old and dry. Seems as tho they where frozen corns. The potatoes where gross.Sorry but I would never go back to this place.
