Had the strawberry matcha and a cheesecake pastry (I forgot the actual name) and both items were incredible. The strawberry matcha was particularly delicious. I plan on trying the coffee the next time I visit as a regular told me that's what their known for!
Stopped by yesterday morning. Was really excited, I love Asian pastries. I want to support us. But this is overpriced for what it is. Got $50 worth of pastries, cookies, croissants, etc. All tasted stale and lackluster. No toaster btw, your pastries can’t be warmed up.Great decor and service though.
Love this place? Best coffee and bakery in town ?
Delaney recommends. Come. Is it recording? Oh, this is a really good coffee shop and tea shop. But you were saying, like, a courtyard. Oh yeah. You walk in and there's, like, a courtyard. I think. And it's really peaceful inside, and their merch is really cool. And they have these cool stickers. And I got one for free once. but i like it a lot.
The pastry chef here is extremely racist and seems also transphobic. She assume I was trans ( I was just a chubby girl why she would tell people this I don’t understand and was very immature of her to do.) and she retaliated the employees against me. A very bitter women and it was a waste of time working for these people.
Overall, Smoking Tiger has great drinks and great vibes. I got the Raspberry Mocha and my girlfriend got the Smokin' Spaniard. Who knew raspberries went so well with mocha? I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for a sweet drink. The Smokin' Spaniard was good, but it felt like half of it was milk foam... I'm assuming the barista just went a little too crazy with the steam wand, but we'll probably get a different drink next time. The ambiance was great too. There was a good amount of seating both inside and outside, making it a great place to study or hang out with friends. I do wish that the owners would buy some umbrellas or canopies because everyone was avoiding the tables in the sun. We almost left for a different cafe because we couldn't find a table in the shade. My experience with the baked goods was like eating a box of See's chocolate. A few of the baked goods were good, but most of them made me regret biting into it. I'd recommend getting the coffee cake or any of the madeleine cookies. Avoid the earl grey cookie and the matcha cookie. Those cookies tasted like they had no sugar and were very grainy
Nice and interesting place, kinda new and quirky. Friendly staff. However the sitting is atrocious, basically sitting on hard woden planks, no padding, no back support. Makes you slouch. As if they are trying to make you uncomfortable on purpose so you'd leave sooner...still gonna rate it 4 stars, hopefully they'll improve the sitting situation
I am obsessed with this place and wish I lived closer to it. The drinks are amazing, the breads are to die for, and their branding is so dope. If you're looking for chill vibes and good food and drink this is the place. Try the Green Goblin, super refreshing.
Astounding! The climate and energy in this bistro are exceptionally unwinding. The barista is truly unbelievable as he figured out how to give me a stunning latte craftsmanship.
Tea and coffee shop. Friendly staff and good selection. Strawberry matcha was delicious.
