The price did go up a little bit, but its one of my favorite places to go. I always get BBQ mix combo and its always more than enough.They do have some problem picking up the phone though. I wish they have better system for pick up. It only has "busy" line where you just wait for the phone rather than "holding" line with music. I ordered here at least 20 times and honestly, at least 3-4 times they didn't pick up so I didn't order.
They need to clean their grill more often. I am not fond of the burnt pieces stuck to the chicken giving the chicken a crunchy burnt taste.
Hope their card machine is working but love the chicken katsu and love their katsu sauce!
We got the bbq and katsu chicken combo. They are good, not oily or too sweet. Will come back definitely.
Hawaiian chain restaurant. Good hawaiian food. We always order the family meal as it is a good value.
My least favorite Hawaiian BBQ chain. $12 for my plate, which had very little meat on it. Can't trade the mixed salad for the macaroni salad. L&L and Aloha both give you a bigger bang for your buck. It may have just been this location, but I won't be comparing any. First and last time. At least the restaurant is clean though.
One of the worst Ono places I've ever had. Usually it's same quality across all stores. Dropped almost $50 on 3 boxes of Hawaiian BBQ mix to-go only to find out the portions were skimped. Instead of the usual loaded up boxes, it's 2 bites and see nothing but cabbage. Even the dark meat BBQ chicken were skimped half portion.What a joke. Avoid at all cost
Portion was terrible. I bought 2 mini meals. The bbq chicken was pink! My stomach is killing me! ? I didn't even finish it.
Now is 9:18PM, I went to the BUENA PARK restaurant location to make an order to go because nobody was answering the phone.I arrived at 9:02PM and the cashier asked me to wait because he was counting money. After 8min another cashier called me to place the order on the other computer. When he was placing the order someone from the kitchen call him and said that was closed at 9:10PM.So on the website says that they close at 9:30 on Saturday.So if you, customers, call and nobody answer the phone 30min prior to close, don’t waste your time going to this location. They probably will do the same with you.This guy “Manager” that told the cashier they were close, was seeing me standing to make the order and didn’t came to me before, just making me wait for nothing.
Really disrespectful staff.At YOUR DOOR and ONLINE says it that you close 9:30 pm.I called many many times and nobody answered the phone then since it closes 9:30 pm I drove there to place the my order.When I got there I waited about 10 minutes and nobody took my order and when the cashier finally talked to me one of the cooks told me right away that the kitchen was closed.But that was 9:15 pm still 15 minutes prior to the advertised hours of operation.And not counting that I waited there 10 minutes before they decided to talk to me.If you don’t close at 9:30 DO NOT ADVERTISE OTHERWISE.I am NOT coming back! And hopefully your company will loose a lot of customers for that poor service that you are offering.Just for your notice I was a regular, everyday customer. Not anymore.
