Update: The waiters were more in the know about the menu. I didn't want to return here because the fish wasn't as fresh but the sashimi and boat options were reasonable, affordable, and delicious.The waiters communicated with us for the delay due to the chef burning their hands. High quality fish but way overpriced. Mother's Day dinner last night at Ki Sushi in Buena Park. Very expensive. Roughly $282 for 5 people (including 20% tip). The food was high quality, but the portions were not big. I was a bit hungry when we left the restaurant, but everyone else was satisfied. I like the fact that diners are spread out in a large space inside the restaurant. Personally, I would choose to dine at Kira Kira in La Mirada instead of Ki Sushi in Buena Park
Quite a neat Japanese restaurant, having lots selections, sashimi fairly good, I asked for low sodium soy sauce, seemed still a little salty, still enjoyed dinner.
This sushi place was AMAZING! We ate dinner for the first time here and would definitely come again. They had a great selection of sake & the three we tried were tasty. The only reason I have four stars was because I felt they were missing out a little on refreshing sushi rolls that had a crisp to it. However, don't misunderstand, the sushi rolls we did order were, hands down, DELICIOUS! Great service as well.
Great food, pricey but not THAT pricey, surprisingly filling.Bit of a long wait and not the greatest service, but not bad at all and the workers are all very friendly.Recommend the Spider Roll, the octopus (thicker than I'd prefer but still delicious), the eel, and the Salmon Skin roll
Definitely fresh sushi, not frozen. I use to sell fish, so I could tell right away the sushi was fresh or top quality. The price is very reasonable. The oyster shot was great. The decoration is cool and has a nice vibe to it. We also got the rib eye to see what it was like. Top notch as well. It is worth the drive if you don’t live nearby.
