The smell of barbecue reeled us in to give this place a try. Unfortunately, I was disappointed.The ribs were tough to chew and did not slide off the bone like you would expect. Their steak sandwich included stale, non-toasted buns and meat that lacked flavor. Also, the garlic toast was underwhelming.The only thing I enjoyed was my diet coke.
This is one of my favorite spots inside of Knott’s Berry Farm, so you’ll need to be in the park to try it.The food is classic BBQ fare and it’s better than you would expect inside of an amusement park. The chicken is usually perfectly cooked and not dry, that’s hard to do with this kind of food. The sausage roll is really good, but you’ll need some dressing for it. I’ve tried everything in the menu and everything is good.I think the best deal is the 1/4 chicken and ribs combo, paired with some of their amazing bbq sauces, this is a top notch place.Sometimes I wish they had access to it from outside the park somehow. Try to hit up this spot before the main rush hours at meal times because the line can be long, and if you are a frequent visitor to Knott’s, Boardwalk BBQ is one of the main reasons why you want to get a food pass. The prices aren’t exactly cheap, so if you like to save money the food pass is your best bet for this one.
I would stick with the chicken and pork rib combo. I had the flank steak sandwich and it was overly salty. A very surprising addition to our trip to Knotts. We had the dining plan, so we chose the fireman's brigade as our eatery for the afternoon.I got the half chicken and my companion got the steak sandwich. Both were excellent, although the actual price of $18 I thought was rather steep. Which is a real reason to get the dining package.The only negative was the corn. I'm used to having butter and tons of toppings for my roasted corn and there were none to be had.All in all the quality delivered for everything else.
Me & my Daughter Lucy first time eating here it was very good a big thank you to knotts berry farm BBQ place I've heard of it in the past but never got a chance to try it everytime said closed I've finally got to try the food delicious you have to try it if you haven't must try it???????
I liked eating here but my food was on the colder side and I found a table really quickly.
My favorite place to eat in Knott's. Just wish they have French fries. Also please change the coldslaw. The portion is so small and just look sad.
They have very good ? pork ribs and tasty chicken ?, also good corn ?, and the cheese bread ? is good, as for the rest, just regular, be prepared for the waiting lines, craaazy!
