Churros are a major disappointment, as another reviewer “Ethan” mentioned it’s like a naked churro, barely any sugar/cinnamon on them. Everything else is great and service is good. But a couple years ago many EPL I go to started SPRINKLING the sugar instead of a full immersion of sugar/cinnamon that completely coats the churro. Everyone knows that’s how a great churro is made. But apparently EPL went on the cheap. I’ve emailed corporate about this issue and never a response. But I was told by the staff I could request for them to add more sugar mixture each time - why should I have to do that? And I hate to go thru that hassle with the employees translating to the “churros person” what I want. So unnecessary - just make them like you used to. That’s why I NEVER buy churros anymore. I am a Loco Rewards member and I visit EPL a lot and everything else is very good. Just do yourself a favor and avoid the disappointment of the “naked churro”!!
Worse manager ever at El Pollo Loco in Buena Park i called at : twelve sixteen on June, twenty seven to complaint for my order that i received. I order a double avocado salad and what i got was half of chicken and lettuceBut he said there's nothing he can do to deliver my order that i should pick it up or he will refund the money terrible customer service by the manager
It would be top-tier if the food had a more freshly cooked taste instead of recently reheated, but at the end of the day it's simply a fast food restaurant with okay Mexican flavor.
I like El Pollo loco. Have gone for years. I was recently disappointed paying $9.49 for breast and wing. The breast was tiny. The sides are large. I liked the salad and broccoli ?!
First time there! I’ve passed this Pollo Loco a trillion times and I finally stopped by. They cook your check PERFECTLY! Some pollo locos undercook it so I’m super picky. The salsa was perfectly done as well! The only thing was the rice. The rice wasn’t so good compared to other pollo locos. Other than that, customer service was awesome! Super quick service as well.
Wonderful food, and even better service. The manager went out of his way to accommodate us, and even made some recommendations so that we'd get a better deal on the food we wanted. 10/10!
Quick and easy service. Food was perfect once we got home we did drive thru. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Today was a very good day at El Pollo Loco!The food was fresh and delicious. Service was great. Very happy with the dining room as well. It was a bit cold in the dining room area, but everything was great.
