Friends and I used to be fans 20 years ago, ate here probably several times a month for years. Then, one day, quality dropped, and with great Korean food options popping up all over the place just down the street, we stopped coming here. Went back over the weekend for a friend's birthday dinner, first time back in many years. "Why did they choose this restaurant?" some of us wondered. But we went, and... service was so chaotic. I'm sure a party of 20 is never a cake walk for servers, but (1) it's hardly a new restaurant working out kinks, (2) reservations were made in advance so they knew to expect a large group, and (3) the restaurant had maybe two or three other small parties dining at the same time as us. So why were the servers so frazzled, tripping over each other and too overwhelmed to take orders? Why were beer glasses unavailable for half the table for over half an hour? Why were they already doing last call at 830 when our rsvp was for 730 on a Saturday night? So many questions. If the food was good, maybe that wouldve made up for the chaos. But nope, the kbbq was mediocre at best. The spicy cold noodles were good, I'll give them that. It was a VERY overpriced meal, especially considering the quality. And it was slightly unpleasant hearing the doors lock behind you not thirty seconds after the group exited the restaurant. With soooooo many other quality options up and down the street from here, I can't think of any good reason to come back.
Two stars for food.Zero for the customer service.The food here is not so special if you have tried Korean food in South Korea, LA or New York. But there are not many Korean restaurants that serve BBQ at this level which makes it this place unique for now but I wonder how that will change once younger generation chefs start Korean restaurants in Chicago.Servers are bad.. they won't talk to you nicely, will look tired all the time, will avoid to communicate in English, throw dishes to the table, and expect for better tips. They just act comfortably to the level where many others will feel disrespected and maybe even upset.This makes me wonder how the owner treats the servers. I assume that would be the reason of all this.If you want better experience go with any Korean older adults that you know. If the KOREAN adult knows the staffs in the restaurant or if you look like you will tip well, you will most likely treated well. (But not guaranteed. It's really up to the server's mood at the moment.)If you go here only with young friends or non-Koreans, it's random and many servers do look depressed at this place.So expect zero for customer service, just try the food and get out. This will help you to have a better experience at this restaurant.Hope this place try to improve the customer service and the food quality.There is a parking area where 4-6 cars can squish in to the left side of the restaurant. If it's full, you have to do street parking.I heard you have to line up to enter but I never did for going here during weekdays for lunch or early dinner. I am not sure but I believe there are around 10 tables and that's why people line up, not because it is that good.
This place was great. Food and service, we will come again.
Do not go there!!Their service was terrable and turned off the heater after we finish our dinner in chilly weather.
Good food. Plenty of parking space. Friendly server. This is not all you can eat Korean BBQ, for your information. That usually means better meat quality. Price is slightly on the higher side than the average. Located not far from the freeway which is a plus. Worth a try.

They brought beef soup i though chef was 5yrs old kid because my daughter can make it better then this
This place sucks let me explain. We got our table but it was near a vent so we didn't want it do then we asked for a new table and they said we needed a reservation so we left because then they wouldn't give us another table they are so mean and rasist.
Felt very welcome here! The hot pot bibimbap was delicious. I would definitely come back!
