The food was really good. I went during the week at around 4:30pm, Knott's wasn't very busy and the restaurant was empty. The service was fine. We got our food pretty quickly after ordering. There are no seats there since it's to-go orders. I got a combo with 2 pieces of chicken, 2 biscuits, 2 sides and some boysenberry jam or jelly. Everything was good! Chicken was pretty crispy on the outside and pretty moist inside. Fyi restaurant is where the shops are outside of the actual park. Across the street from Fridays. There is free parking for one hour or less.

Mrs Knots Chicken is a legend.4 Stars could be 5 if sides were larger than a small baby food jar.

Food was disgusting. Bland with no flavor. Our Buffalo wings were not even edible. Chicken wings were ok but super bland. Fortunately manager did not charge us for the entrees we did not eat. But I would have rather known the food was garbage before waiting for an hour to get a table. Never again.

Stopped and picked up a bucket of Knott's famous fried chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy and macaroni and cheese ????? parking is free the first hour and the chicken dinner was great as always.

I have been coming to this restaurant for 50 years. I ate lunch there yesterday in the dining room with my wife and a week ago in the bar area with my sister. The food was very good, but both times it was freezy cold. They didn't turn on the heat (maybe to save money). Some bring your warmest clothes or you will freeze.

I’m not gonna lie, the chicken there is really good! The food and menu is perfect for a brunch! I give a good recommend to people willing to host a birthday lunch/dinner or a brunch! But the downhill of that is the wait time to be able to go inside..

Ugh.. they treat you like a filthy bag of germs here. These people love face diapers. Would not even answer my question about how long the wait was unless I submitted to their demand to cover my face--which I would not do. Dont submit to this madness, its disrespectful and rude to treat people like this.

Really delicious chicken! It’s been a while and I know why. Parking is ridiculous, their app to pre-order wasn’t working and prices are a bit steep. $34 for an 8 piece dinner to go.That aside, thanks really enjoyed the chicken and biscuits. Chicken was moist and seasoned perfectly. Mashed potatoes and gravy was good, but could easily pass. Same with Mac n cheese.Hard to say if I would go back just for chicken as it took a little over an hour to find parking, walk to the market place and wait for the food. Thankfully the parking is free for the first hour and you get an extra two with purchase and validation. They do validate at Chicken to Go and food thing they did, because past the first hour it would have been another $10.

Eating dinner here has always been the highlight of a trip to So CA. Even when it meant standing in a very long line. Many times we would eat here and never even go into the Park. This year we made a reservation to go on our first night in SoCA. We even skipped lunch because we know the size of their servings and the quality of the food. What. A. Disappointment. First of all, husband walking with a cane and very slowly, we got a table in the very far back of a room, passing by other empty tables.......and apparently we passed out of SoCA and into Siberia because it was FREEZING back in this area. And then we sat. And waited. And tried using our QR Reader to look at the menu. We tried many times - because we waited at least 15 - 20 minutes until one person came over to the table and offered us water while we asked to see the waitress!. Never could get that QR code to work - even though we know for a fact our QR Reader works. And when the waitress finally came up and we asked for a menu - she told us bluntly she didnt know what to do because they no longer had any paper menus anywhere in the facility. When I suggested that maybe one of the people at the podium could bring one of their iPads/tablets back and bring the menu up on one of those, it was like I was the smartest person in the whole world to think of this! So she left to get someone....and we waited again. And watched people that were seated at the same time we were seated, get drinks, and then their first courses.....When a person brought up a tablet for us to look at, we finally received water. This person was very helpful and advised us that we could easily order one meal and split it, that the amounts of food were more than adequate for 2 people. And so we did that. And then we did start getting our food. Husband got his salad; I got my cherry rhubarb, And then the biscuits came out. They use to be a plateful of these very delicious, small biscuits, and you used to have your choice of jam (including, of course, the berry jam) or honey. Now they bring out 6 medium sized biscuits and a plastic little cup full of some unknown jam. Which was good, but it wasnt Mrs. Knott's famous jelly! And you have to ask for salt and pepper and hope they can find something to bring... And then came dinner. And our ice tea (and at no time were we ever offered refills for our water or our ice tea). The typical little saucer full of corn (which is usually very good, but this time was very mushy and overcooked). A small, single person sized serving of mashed potatoes and a small amount of what use to be very good chicken gravy, but this time someone had a heavy hand with flour or whatever thickener they used. And the chicken. Oh how we both wanted to cry. Over cooked, tasteless, we finished most of it only because we were so hungry. And then we got our pie. And left. And 2 nights later enjoyed very good fried chicken in Disneyland. At this point, we have no plans to ever waste our time returning to what use to be our very favorite place to get a fried chicken dinner.

So ... despite the park not being busy wait times were long we got there early enough after opening that we got a 25 min wait time but by time we got in was back up to 45 min as it had been the day before when we attempted to eat here. Most of the spacious dining areas were not in use so either they are short staffed or they purposefully are short staffed as most of the park appeared to be due to a less busy week hard to say. In any case once we were seated in a reasonably nice area the service was peppy but good, clearly our waitress was busy but she did her best to provide the information and gathering our order, no complaints though as time wore on more help seemed to arrive. In any case had the fried chicken white meat which was good and very moist though which i think i read a review that said it was under done i don't think their chicken is underdone i think it's just oddly i know moist lol cuz i was expecting it a bit dryer as well. In any case their mashed potatoes are very good and corn, but the boys berry dressing on the salad was outstanding i must say it surprised me, i can still imagine it's taste days later as it stuck with me as it was very good. overall yes it's over priced and yes they could have a quicker service of getting people seated, but i enjoyed the meal i must say.
