I love places like this. What this restaurant lacks in interior/exterior design, it make up for in food taste, value, and service. They have an amazing selection from burgers to sandwiches to Mexican food. The fried zucchini was delicious and plentiful. Burger was spot-on and gyro was great. I wish there were more Greek options considering its namesake though. We will definitely be back for breakfast since the burritos look amazing.
Decent food, but whatever 17-year-old girl they have behind the counter is nasty over the phone and nasty in person. Even if you guys had five star food, which you don't, This place isn't worth it unless you like being disrespected.
This place is awful way over price. food quality was terrible and to salty even the dressing was extremely salty my chicken sandwich combo was to expensive fir what they delivered but there's always someone that likes it..poor fireman they deserve better ?
MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST PLACE!! I GO HERE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK THEIR BREAKFAST IS AMAZING AND THEIR STAFF IS THE SWEETEST AND ALWAYS MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR HOME AND WELCOMED. THE PRICES HAVE GOTTEN A LITTLE HIGH THESE DAYS WHICH ISNT THE GREATEST BUT THE FACTY THAT THE STAFF KNOW YOU PERSONALLY AND CALL YOU BY NAME IS ENOUGH FOR ME TO KEEP SPENDING MY MONEY HERE. SERIOUSLY THE NICEST AND COOLEST STAFF WHO CARE AND TAKE THE TIME TO GET TO KNOW YOU AND ASK ABOUT YOUR FAMILY... ITS AMAZING AND A WONDERFUL THING. A++++++
So I was referred to Athenian by my brother. Its an American / Mexican classic food diner. I had been wanting to try this spot for a while now but Paul's Place is closer to my work, so I would go there out of convenience. Recently Paul's s quality has gone down the drain. I came to Athenian with hopes on an excellent breakfast burrito, especially since I seen that they were voted one of OC's best. They did not disappoint. I ordered the suicide breakfast burrito which was a mixed burrito with crispy bacon, thick cut ham, and sausage. The cheese was melted right on the tortilla which was perfect as there was cheese in every bite. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the burrito was a healthy size. I was stuffed to say the least. I can't wait to go back and try different burritos. I definitely recommend this local joint for some good eats.
The place serves pretty good food and the service is great. I would definently recommend this place for some breakfast or lunch with the family. Building needs a little love but that's the least of the concerns.
Fresh ingredients, great tasting food. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their items.

Good breakfast burritos. Not enough for me to make a long drive each morning but good enough. The burritos are quite pricey though.
