Although the food was ok when we had a takeaway we had issues here . First morning breakfast was finished at 2 mins to 11.Which is fair enough but a little flexibility would have been nice.Second visit we were told due to staffing we could not sit at the bar and have a drink and the bar was closed.It seems incredible a hotel the size of Knott's Berry farm has no bar service. When we raised it at the front desk they were unaware the bar was closed. They contacted Amber waves and told us we could have drinks if we sat and had food but the bar was closed otherwise due to staffing but they did actually have a barman in . Doesn't make sense as the place was empty !As we had already eaten we wandered over to TG I Friday and had drinks there instead.
Me and my family came to the Knotts Berry Farm Hotel to stay and go to the park, but we had to try the restaurant as this was extremely convenient. We arrived on Tuesday, March, 22nd around a little after 2pm. We were greeted and sat at a table where we met our Waiter Paul. Paul was extremely polite and gave us food suggestions and drink suggestions. He was attentive and honestly kept checking up on us to make sure we were good and our drinks were topped off. Honestly I normally do not brag about waiters or waitresses, but the two top respectful waiters that left a positive mark on me and my family were Paul and Kevin. Both were very professional and showed courtesy. The food though was not bad compared to some of the negative reviews I have read prior to coming here. I admit I was skeptical about eating here as the reviews weren't good, but the food and beer were not bad as the ratings deserved. We ate here 3 days in a row, to include breakfast and dinner, the burgers are excellent, the pizzas are great, the wings were alright not perfect, just needed it to be a little more crispier, but overall decent food. The breakfast I will say was ok, it was an average buffet, they had biscuits and gravy, scrambled cheesy eggs with bacon, regular scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, French toast, fruit, yogurt, and etc. The first waitress who I forget her name was on the Wednesday, the 23rd, she didn't like her job.
Great service and good food. Will visit again. KBF season pass holder discount was a bonus.
I anticipated this being a standard mid-range hotel restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised. Wide range of menu options, fast service by employees who seem like they actually want to be there, comfortable ambiance - some would say its dated, but it fits with the Knott's vibe. After thinking I would stop here only if there were no other options, I now plan to start and end each Knott's trip with meals at Amber Waves.
Great food, great drinks. Go even if you aren't going to Knotts
First off , if your staying at the hotel they give you a coupon for 20 percent off here which is a great idea and way to keep you form leaving Knotts for a meal. We actually took a break from the park to have lunch here before returning which was a great peaceful way to have lunch plus get better price points and relaxation, this may not work for people who brought kids though depends lol. In any case the server was fantastic taking care of us all in a kind and professional manner super I believe his name was Paul, great service. The food was also quite tasty and good. We had burgers, the American Burger and the BerryFarm Burger which was excellent with the house chipotle boysenberry sauce yum Would definitely return, the reviews i had read are true this place has great service and good food, pizza by the way looked great as well.

Over a 4 day stay we had 2 breakfasts and 4 dinners including Thanksgiving. Until the last night my review would have been 5 star as up to then the staff and the food were excellent. There is always a wait for a table and no booking system which is slightly chaotic but not a major issue. The problem on our last night was caused by our waiter's attitude and some of the food. However the issues were resolved satisfactorily and quickly with the manager. All in all a good place to eat with a nice atmosphere.
Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights so we ate here each day, in one hand it was really good and in the other hand it was bad. Sometimes the food was good but you could not guarantee what you were going to get. I can say, every night when we arrived at the restaurant, there was always a wait to be seated even when there are tables free so not sure why we had to wait. All the staff are really friendly but on the last night we were let down by the service which was a shame to the rest of the team. Overall it was an ok experience.
